Hey dear anon!! Well let me to explain you like this, that to me Mitsuba is the same as Mito or Sayuri or Shigure.

Mito, Sayuri and Shigure are all important to GUREN but do they have any kind of special power or plans? Well no🤷‍♀️

Even if one of these three characters will disappear from the manga nothing basically won't change because they are not key characters this is exact same about Mitsuba too, yes she is important but not to the story but to YUU because she is a part of Yuu's FAMILY and this is what makes her important but for example if she wasn't a part of Shinoa's squad then would she be important in general? Ofc no right? In every story we have some side characters which generally exist to support the story and the main character but are not a KEY character for example Shinya, Kureto, Asuramaru, Noya, Urd and Saito are key characters and Ky Luc, Lest Karr, Kiseki O, Gekkoin, Raimeki, Byakkomaru, Mitsuba, Sayuri, Shigure, Mito even Crowley are mostly side characters (about the demon we need to wait and see a little more but generally the KEY demons are ONLY Noya and Asuramaru that's all🤷‍♀️) and at the end the MAIN characters who are HANDELLING the story are: Yuu, Mika, Guren, Mahiru, Shikama doji, kinda Krul and Ferid (I can add Saito here too tbh) so I mean... Sometimes we need to just overcome the facts that our favoriet character can't be someone always so special in the story you really can't expect much of a side character tbh just like you can't expect Mito, Sayuri and Shigure to be that much important for the STORY yes they ARE important because they are the main characters supporter and family but if they wouldn't be a part of the main character's family then they honestly weren't important and the story wouldn't be incomplete without them🤷‍♀️ so Kagami has some plans for her? I think just like Mito the most important thing and plan Kagami can have for her is her love towards Yuu and the dramas it can bring or something relating to her relationship with Aoi and what if Aoi already dead after Urd attacked the city and her reactions and so that's all🤷‍♀️ it doesn't mean Mitsuba is bad or not important but the truth is that she is not that much important we want to stretch the story only for her sometimes too (she can have some few chapters for herself but if we want she will have an arc only for herself well.... That's not really wise tbh...!)

I'm interested in your opinion on the relationship between Guren and Mito.

mito gives the impression of a very naive and not mature girl, and I believe that she makes gurena feel bad with her feelings. mito confesses his "love" for Guren literally three times (ranobe 16 / manga 16 + ranobe 19), and he constantly refused. also, mito would decide to tell him about her feelings (and even ask about sex) at VERY inappropriate times (almost always before the day they might die and when guren felt terrible).

answer this if you think it's necessary. I will be interested to read your opinion about the relationship of these two. thank you!

Yeah about this before starting anything I want to state this that all of what I am going to write down is just simply my oponions and it doesn't mean I hate Mito or whatever so please Mito fans don't feel bad about this ok?!

Actually I am completely agree with you dear anon.

Like in my eyes in Catastrophe at 16 and World Resurrection at 19 novels she was nothing but, well annoying.

Like yep you have a crush on Guren and you told him by putting your pride whole away and he logicaly rejected you.

He patiently told you why he can't love you (because of Ichinose House past) and furthermore he was basically in love with someone else (I don't want to talk about Guren's love towards Mahiru was actually love or something else but the truth is that he was at the very least thinking about another girl and everybody did knew this and not important if he was thinking about her in a romantic way or an obssession like way still doesn't change this fact that was someone else on his heart anyway) but what did she do after being rejected?!

Not even stop but she tried even more to have him! And in my eyes and my oponions this is just not ok.

Both not ok for her and not for Guren as she is just destroying her face and pride in front of Guren, a boy, and for Guren it must be really hard and annoying the one who he rejected once and he looks at her as a friend and some kind of sister continue to be like this.

This is hurtful for both a boy and a girl at least in my moral and my culture.

I mean just look at Sayuri, she also confessed to her feelings too and after being rejected she just stopped.

Yes she still acts girlish and cute when she is around Guren but she never dared to ask it again because she knew the lines and that it may not just hurt her but will also hurt Guren too and that's why I admire her a lot in this case she is a brave girl who overcomed to her feelings as she didn't want to destroy more important things like her friendship with Guren she knew that it doesn't deserve it but Mito? She continued a lot and on Wrat19 novels she was just like....super annoying in my oponion.

She was like ok now Mahiru's gonne we can be together! And this was super selfish.

Yes Guren's relationship with Mahiru was absolutely toxic but still he just lost her a few hours ago?! He must still feel upset and sad over her death? Mito just wasn't think about how Guren was feeling and the fact that Guren's heart is not like a hotel when a girl leaves it another girl can come in fast and replace her! Even if she wanted to talk about anything she needed to wait at least some weeks or even months to pass first.

so yeah these are all my oponions and maybe people would be disagree which is ok but what I want to say is that first of all my oponions are under influence of my culture and my belifes and the fact I think in this case everyone started to just think about Mito's feelings and all and not Guren's feelings.
