Linktober day 17: Korok!
idk who started the theory that the korok from age of imprisonment is misko the great bandit but. so true
The Great Thief Misko infamously misplaced most things he stole soon after he stole it. He happened to drop his treasures in the deep, dark places he snuck through to evade capture. Later on, his followers pushed the idea that he simply hid his incredible finds where no one could find them rather than selling them for the immense amount of rupees they were worth.
He was The Moderately Mediocre Thief Misko.

(I love these. I have the yellow and the turquoise one, I'm pretty sad that I only found out about them years after they were in stores.)
Misko is the character of all time. Legendary bandit of Hyrule, admired by treasure hunters and fashionistas alike. Hid clothes across the land and wrote riddles to their locations that still confound seekers today. Hung markers in thousands-years old caves to indicate that Clothes Have Been Hid Here. We know nothing else about them. They even use they/them pronouns.

Biggest surprise in Totk is probably that Link apparently became a nudist bandit and hid all his clothing all over Hyrule, and that his surname is Misko. At least that's the headcanon I'm going for, as to why all my outfits from Botw mysteriously disappeared, and for some reason only are found in random caves now. And as to why almost no one remembers Link, even if they were quest giving NPC's, except of course the major NPC's. Link just spent 6-8 years hiding his stuff, and himself, like an over-eager squirrel in the wilderness, and avoiding people to the best of his abilities. (Except stables, bc he loves his horsies.)
honestly this is the Linkest thing I've ever heard, headcanon accepted
Tingle is just so entrancing... and now we can be with his outfit! Probably! KV and Link are out Clothes Shopping/Hunting/Stealing(?) for today's Log. Perhaps we'll do some other stuff too! There's just so many quests to do! KV's Tears of the Kingdom Logs #81
