All the books i've finished in the first half of 2026! I'm on track with my goal of reading 30 books this year.

nah its mostly just marketing strategy stuff. its a collection catering to people above the age of miffys target audience (adults/teens instead of kids) and using "tiktok slang" to market. Anyone who can see the humor behind a shirt that says "in my miffy era" already speaks english at least well enough and translating it to dutch would just make it "cringe" and drive away customers. And to be quite honest, in the NL you reach more people with english than dutch atp, we have a lot of immigrants who don't speak dutch as well as a HUGE amount of tourists that love miffy, these shirts will sell like hot cakes in amsterdam. Also the miffy prinsenvlag image wasnt considered controversial enough to reach the news i highly doubt a few funny retweets on twitter would make the miffy brand excecs panic hard enough to pivot.
