Mojito Milkshake
1 serving
Mojitos are a traditional Cuban drink that includes white rum, lime juice and mint. This version adds vanilla ice cream and milk to make a milkshake. It is topped off with whipped cream.
Ingredients
¼ cup milk
2 tablespoons of white rum, chilled
2 tablespoons lime juice, chilled
¼ teaspoon mint extract
1 ½ cups vanilla ice cream
Garnish: whipped cream and mint leaves (optional)
Directions:
Add the milk, white rum, lime juice, mint extract and vanilla ice cream to a blender. Blend until creamy and smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with whipped cream and mint leaves.
Don’t serve to anyone not drinking alcoholic drinks like kids or pregnant women.
Note:
You can use freshly squeezed lime juice or use juice from a bottle.
If you want to avoid or are allergic to dairy products you can get milk, ice cream and whipped cream made from almonds or coconuts or other products.
