If you're a Christian of any stripe, I really recommend you read Pope Leo XIV's Apostolic Letter In unitate fidei, which is addressed to all Christians in honor of the 1700th anniversary of the first ecumenical Council of Nicaea.

Churchyard of Providence United Methodist Church
Providence Canyon State Park, Georgia
Oct. 2025
On Wednesday (02/25/26), I joined the Faithful Resistance March for Immigrant Justice in Washington D.C. Approximately 2000 people, clergy and laity, attended the worship service and march which were organized by the United Methodist Church. After the march many participants visited the office of their Federal legislators. The worship service was held at the Capitol Hill UMC church and then together everyone walked a mile to the Capitol to hear the speeches. Our Massachusetts group met with Sen. Warren’s staff at her office in the Hart Building. The message delivered by the march was that our Christian faith teaches us to love all our neighbors and treat all with justice and compassion.
