Am I the only one who really really WANTS to be Catholic but just...cant? like I agree with a lot of Catholic theology (the vast majority of it actually) and I feel a really weird call to be Catholic, but I'm pretty confident in my beliefs and some of those contradict Catholicism, and while I don't disagree with any Catholic dogma/infallible teaching I feel like it would be disingenuous to become Catholic knowing full well I'm gonna disagree with the church on a lot of its teachings (primarily sexual and medical ethics) even if those teachings aren't dogmatic, and like, idk what's the point of being Catholic if you cant in good faith submit to the churches authority? sorry for the ramble but I'm so conflicted ):

please pray for a family friend who is experiencing the breakdown of his marriage, unjust and false allegations, and is being deported to his home country where he has no support network or family anymore whatsoever. he is currently in a shelter. he is the kindest, sweetest man I’ve ever met, he doesn’t deserve this at all, and his future is so uncertain right now. thank you so much.
