Anyone get a feeling of "wow I really love my Gods" for literally no reason. No reminders of them or anything. It just happens. Or am I just silly?

missing my city’s pride events this year because i still live with my homophobic parents while waiting to start my new job after college graduation. i’m upset obvi bc i had friends invite me and had to turn them down bc i didnt want to lie about where im going because i would be kicked out if they found out.

im really hoping next year is better for me and i can finally be out and start presenting and expressing myself the way i want and hopefully finally start socially and medically transitioning.

its been a long time coming but i finally feel like im at the end of having to wait.

can't wait to say "during pride month?" at every minor inconvenience all of next month

i went thrifting with my boyfriend today and ended up getting a book called the girl from the sea, which is a sapphic graphic novel from the thrift store in a pretty homophobic town near me (my bf and i are like medium distance so we went somewhere halfway for our date).

either that queer book was donated because someone finished reading it and wanted to make more space in their collection for more books. or a queer kid bought that book for themself and their unsupportive parents found it and donated it so they wouldn’t have it.

i’ve gone through the latter before, and hope that if that hypothetical scenario is the case that the queer kid who once owned that book is safe and having a happy pride month somewhere knowing one day they’ll be able to be out and not have to hide anymore.

i had to do it before, i still do now, but im closer than i was when i was a teen to being my full authentic self no longer needing to hide my true identity.

By all means not an expert, but progressive Christian’s saying they won’t get “political” when discussing Christianity or on their religious blog is a little strange and misguided. Homie the Bible IS POLITICAL and radically at that. Feeding the hungry, sheltering the poor, anti-violence, and anti-war is political. Taking care of our planet, Uplifting your community, and loving your neighbor is political. Politics isn’t just discourse on policy, politics stretches and defines every part of our life. By finding the good in humanity you participate in politics, and that’s a good thing I promise.
