Good #MythicalMonday Friends! While we are all writing our own stories like we are running out of time, I wanted to take this opportunity for some sound advice: Take a Break. It is easy to get caught up in projects and progress. Most of us have been taught from childhood that we will only be able to enjoy it once it has been completed. So we spend hour after hour, day after day, toiling away at our to-do lists, our goals, our ambitions. And I say toil, because it becomes less about wanting to get somewhere and more to needing to get somewhere (I’m sure you’ve all begun to pick up that difference over the past three years). Part of the journey IS the journey! Part of the experience IS to stop and smell the roses (or daisies or peonies or whatever happens to grow in your region) and see your footprints behind you. Take a Break! The road you are travelling will still be there in an hour. In a day. In a week. Because it’s your road. But why make the trip if you refuse to stop for gas? For lodging? For The Thing at Exit 322? Take a Break! How else can you remember all the details of your story? Give yourself time to adapt and change to where you’ve come from…the starting line back in January is already so far behind you. Take time to see what you went through to get here, to today. Take a Break! Because more often than not, you’ll find you started good things in the rush to get here. You’ll see the branches you set into motion. And you’ll see that maybe you already started a new path on changes already. If you don’t stop to look around from time to time, you might miss where you’re going. @mythical @mythicalstore #GMM #BYMB #Merchicality https://www.instagram.com/p/CpdeiCtPNvK/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
