The clear discomfort about the MK video continues on and off in the bts at the end where they talk about the reveal. Rhett joked(?) about having seen some of it on camera, and if that's true maybe it explains why Link seemed so much more on edge. But Link did shake his head about that joking, so idk. They have like 50 cacti or something, but Link asked KG if she saw the one shaped like a wiener and balls, which Christy bought for him because she thought he would like it (and he does.) But KG asks him "Because you like weiner and balls?" and he responds "... I relate." She responds sarcastically "...Right, right."
I mean his options in that moment were say yes, say no or scramble for some non-answer to the question, it was all in good jest but it put him on the spot.
When Rhett is asking KG if she went in his closet and she says she went in every door, there is something on his face that's a little scary! If he was putting it on for effect, it was really well done because it was subtle. Like well concealed boss-fury. But it did seem more like joking when they went on to talk about the "tiny door no one knows about."
And as they leave them, Link repeats that he will be watching. He's clearly still partially uncomfortable about it, even though he's able to have fun and joke about it. I wonder if there was anything they chose to cut out after reviewing the footage.
I don't understand why though. Is there any chance in hell the crew broke in without them knowing? No. It looked to me like they intentionally acted disturbed and worried, which also begs the question as to why they chose to act like this!
As for the BTS moment, I can totally believe how this fake worry could quickly turn into genuine contained fury once Rhett knew KG went into every place in the house. Maybe he later started joking because he figured KG was probably pulling his leg? In any case, I cannot conclude anything because I am not on MS.
