anyways I literally just had this thought bc meichae fluff:

we've talked about everyone seeing yoonchae smile for the first time before but that was about small smiles rather than literal grins. first time they see her genuinely cheesing is at Megan (Megan lowkey probably told a dad joke but-) and they all just collectively aww-ed (probably not out loud... yoonchae would retreat... bc cat yoonchae agenda)

inspired by that one screenshot floating around of yoonchae smiling wider than ive ever seen at Megan about that meme she kept referencing (I forgot the video name, its the uk, tower of something?)

i know i know i'm sorry i promise there will be at least some fluff and a more sweet than bitter bittersweet ending (although at this point it might just have to be fully sweet lol)

that's so cute dude yoonchae is always cheesing at megan it's a little insane actually

but then yoonchae's name is called and she walks on and all three sobers up real quick when yoonchae looks for them in in the crowd and smiles and throws them a shy little wave and theyre just so damn proud of her and suddenly theyre all sniffling and tearing up

megan's such a little shit like that she absolutely would do that just to mess with sophia and then end up crying too

and yoonchae can HEAR them she has spidey senses, she can hear them all crying and she can hear lara whooping excitedly and megan murmuring something under her breath and dani leaning into manon and whispering about how grown up she looks and she wasn't gonna cry, but hearing them undoes her just a little

meanwhile yoonchae is laser-focused on actually building it while Megan is absentmindedly handing her the right pieces, and manon is honestly just wondering why there's three separate versions of iron man. dani could not be less interested but yoonchae is invested so therefore so is she (bc thats just how things work) so she's doing paperwork on the side.

there'd probably be at least two minifigs for of each of them and I think Megan and yoonchae would find it hilarious that they've attempted to make a civilian version of them and it's wildly inaccurate (they're males, for starters, and their hair choices are not the best). everyone's suits on the other hand are insanely accurate and Sophia, for one, finds that fascinating. they've also probably included a Loki figure that manon is honestly pissed off about but won't say anything, and Sophia is looking at with sad eyes bc they managed to get her sister's likeness down somehow.

anyway they end up having it on display in their main living space alongside alllllll the other sets yoonchae/Sophia/Megan have built over the last year(?), and it's a pain to keep clean so lara ends up building a few glass cases that don't let dust in at all. she also takes one of her iron man figures to display in her lab bc... why not? if anyone were to look closely at the set though, they'd find that's not the only minifig missing. spiderman seems to be gone, and so is deadpool.... weird, right? they each individually come to the conclusion that oh, Megan and yoonchae must've taken their own figures to keep, aw that's cute.

until one day Sophia's looking for something in megan's room and- is that a spiderman minifigure hidden behind that picture? and is the picture of Megan and yoonchae in... a skatepark? or manon Is tucking yoonchae into bed and catches sight of a little deadpool sat on yoonchae's desk, tucked between pens and paper, and just doesn't react and walks out. (yes, they took each other's minifigures to add to their growing collection of themed merch of each other, no they did not plan it, it just happened.) I have two exams tomorrow wtf is wrong with me... - 🧩

but oh my god this is so perfect i love it, everyone feels so in character. lara critiquing the design, sophia just listening to her, yoonchae being genuinely so invested, megan helping her, manon puzzling over the minifigs, dani working nearby because she doesn't care but yoonchae does

and the loki minifig...definitely bittersweet for sophia if it exists, but i imagine she would want to keep it anyway (and manon would not be happy about it, but keeping quiet for sophia's sake)

Yoonchae tries on Megan's sunglasses and grins at her and Megan is just red in the face as she stares because why does she look so cute??

Megan clumsily takes pictures of Yoonchae with her camera and Yoonchae finds it endlessly endearing when she flips through it and finds half of them blurry

Yoonchae shares her food with Megan because she likes feeding her and making sure she eats and Megan in turn buys the things Yoonchae likes in bulk so she'll never have to run out of it

Megan comes up behind Yoonchae to rest her chin on her shoulder half asleep and Yoonchae doesn't even flinch and instead leans her head back with a hum

Yoonchae crocheted Megan a beanie to keep her warm and Megan wears it all the time

In the far future when they're both living together I think they'd wake up early to go on morning walks around the park to start the day feeling the sun warm their skin Yoonchae started doing it and Megan started coming with her too

Megan yappertron 3000 has nightly conversations with Yoonchae and falls asleep still mumbling as if she's still talking about how her day went and Yoonchae finds it very cute

Yoonchae has a worn leather journal where she writes all her thoughts and feelings and even draws whatever catches her interest and when Megan takes a peak she sees many sketches of landscapes and parks and cafes and shops in the city and realizes they're from days spent together

Whenever they go patrolling together they sometimes forget that people can hear them whenever they get too into some petty argument that's never serious like imagine they land on a rooftop of an apartment quipping back and forth about laundry or something and the person their window open overhears and is like 'lol why are Deadpool and Spiderman arguing like a couple' anyways they hate to be apart so they just follow eachother around and argue about literally nothing

Meichae can't communicate how much they care whenever the other is in danger so they do stupid shit like Yoonchae tries to exclude her in missions that she thinks is risky and Megan locks Yoonchae in a random empty room of the warehouse they're hiding out and draws away like 20 guys away from the warehouse
