Snotlout would be such a bitchy dad, the type that comes to school and gets in a fight with the teacher over minor issues if he feels like his child got wronged

He'd overcompensate in an effort to not repeat his dads mistakes and would end up being a bit overbearing so Eret would have to pull him back and help ground him a little, also Snotlout would 100% be super anxious about being a good parent and he'd constantly doubt himself
He wants to be a dad but he’s scared of the responsibility and worries that he might permantly fuck up his kid and Eret vould be a good grounding force for him, he'd be more scared of the commitment of having a child imo
Also their kid would probably prefer riding on Erets shoulders cause they can see more from up there, they'd tell Snotlout in classic tactless toddler fashion and he'd be pissed about it for years (eret would keep bringing it up too </3 )
