I experimented with painting with eyeshadow (it was past its expiration date) and watercolors on top. It looks much more interesting in person!
The most important thing is that if you apply the shadows to the paper first and then start using watercolors, this will prevent excessive corrosion of the paper. I used office paper.

Backstory.
After so many trials, they finally realized they were more comfortable together than apart. Sometimes Ruffnut thought she'd been pushing Snotlout away for so long; they'd get back together, then, unable to contain themselves, would accuse each other of some trivial matter, until one day Snotlout finally decided to put an end to it and openly proposed to the head of the Thorston family. He agreed to the wedding of Snotlout and Ruffnut. At first, outraged that Snotlout hadn't discussed it with her, she wanted to beat him with Tuffnut's mace, but now she's changed her mind, maybe later...
And so they were preparing her for the wedding. Few had seen her with her hair down, but Ruffnut insisted on braiding it, albeit only two thin braids, and two of her favorites, which she intertwined with the first blossoms of a wild apple tree.
The figure of her chosen one appeared in the distance. Who would have thought Snotlout would mature so much? He'd come to terms with the fact that he wasn't a giant like his father. But over the past few years, the young man had shed the insecurities he'd buried deep within himself. And the pride that had frankly been holding him back. He was now respected in the Clan, but sometimes his former arrogance would surface, but they turned a blind eye—he was Snotlout, after all.
And now he stands next to Gotti, still a free youth; tomorrow the Clan will look upon him as a man. But that's not what worries Snotlout so much; his heart skips a beat, yet at the same time he desperately runs forward, because, no wonder, the most repulsive and simultaneously most beautiful girl he knows is coming toward him... Ruffnut...
