Who’s your favorite character from each media 👀

It is definitely Jean Vicquemare from Disco, and Izzy hands from OFMD.

For Jean, a lot of what we get about him and his relationship with Harry is through Martin Luiga vague posting and implied shit in the game. But all these crumbs are so delicious to me. I really like it when people explore his relationship with intense working out as a manifestation of his internalized homophobia/transphobia. Put that macho guy in a dress and make him work through his feelings.

For Izzy it’s like…I could honestly not stand him for the first season, but as the second season expanded on a lot of his internalized issues and his relationship with Blackbeard I couldn’t help but love him for all his angst. He honestly makes re-watching the show so much better because you can better understand why he does what he does (not that it is justified). I HATED what they did to him at the end of the show

I also appreciate both these characters as disability representation. Jean gets cluster headaches, Izzy loses his leg. Neither of them are seen as weak for it by the story, and I think thats nice.
