#Motivation: Every year around #graduation time, I think about being #Valedictorian, but was more focused on my robe being a different fabric then everyone else's because I was too too fat. This was a time when I was scared to enter my new field because of being so #overweight, #fat. That's when I seriously knew I needed to work on my appearance. But it wasn't until my brother became ill and passed, that I finally committed to a lifestyle change. I'm so happy I finally chose a #healthy me over the idle me. . I’ve decided to hold myself to a workout challenge in May. While cardio workouts such as Cycle and BodyStep are my go to workouts when in Madison and group P90X and Insanity exercises are my go to when on the road for work, nothing beats the feeling I get after a strength workout. That being said, making the time to lift is always a struggle for me. This month, I plan to change that! For the month of May, I challenge myself to a #maymuscles challenge. To complete the challenge, I’ll be doing at least three strength workouts a week for the next 30 days. Wish me luck!

May 25-June 1 So, I kind of slacked off the last week... It turns out I only worked out for 3 days!! Dang.. Working at Walmart can get really tiring and overwhelming sometimes! But This month of June I'm going to be really dedicated to working out!! I didn't join the blogilates dietbot challenge, because I forgot when the deadline was xD But I am definitely documenting my progress and hopefully am going to lose 4 percent of my weight. On the subject of weight, on April 15, 2013 I weighed 120lbs !! Woah... But after working out in the month of May I weight 111 lbs!! It's not that I'm trying to lose weight, but I am trying to lose fat... and I guess this is the only way I can track it for now. But I am very excited and happy for my progress. Can't wait to see what June brings!! On another note, I worked out with my boyfriend to all the videos on the June calendar!! lol how exciting right? We were dead after the 2 arm videos... lol but IDK how we mange to push through the ab workouts but we did :D so lucky to have a amazing motivating partner.

oh well, i do feel proud that i managed to do MOST of maymuscles and i can see little differences in my body! looking forward to working out in june!
