As Elsa Bloodstone "dies" temporarily, she wakes up in The Great Void where she meets Marlo Chandler-Jones the avatar of Death. Then, Elsa gets into a fight with Marlo-Death.

Death, a cosmic concept embodied, has taken MANY forms. Thanos' beautiful love, a cloaked skeleton, even Marlo Chandler the Queen Death all have one thing in common besides ...well, death.

Marlo-Death forces Elsa Bloodstone to sign the Death-Paper so that she could take her away. Singularity tells Nico Minoru that Marlo-Death's pen is one of the missing pieces of the shard is part of the Tether of Existence. Nico begs Marlo-Death for a pen. Marlo-Death reluctantly agrees and gives Nico a pen as long as she agrees to be a "bloodhound" for Death.

Even though Singularity and Nico Minoru had brought Elsa Bloodstone back to The Land Of Lving, the latter (Elsa) was unhappy about it because she wanted to keep fighting Marlo-Death. Suddenly, Marlo-Death appears in the room, startling everyone except Elsa who wants to fight her. Unfortunately, Marlo-Death is too pissed-off (mainly about dealing with the paperwork and deathly bureaucracy) that she zaps Elsa with a scythe. While Elsa gets dragged around by Marlo-Death, the two girls - Singularity and Nico are arguing about what they can do to help Elsa.

Elsa Bloodstone tries to fight Marlo-Death with a scythe in The Great Void. However, Elsa loses her balance that she falls into the void until she wakes up from her dying dream. She finds herself surrounded by Singularity and Nico Minoru.
