Hello all now we just concluded Infernla Hulk which is meant to act as the 2nd Part of Phillip K Johnson’s trilogy

And oh boy are we in for a treat the next few months before Hulk War:Infernal Rage drops

But the big question on my mind is who will be fighting with Bruce in 2027?

We know from the FCBD issue that the Infernal Hulk will turn the FF, Avengers, X-Men & Spider-Man to his son (be that consensually or not)

So that leaves Bruce in a precarious situation

Now we know that Bruce with the help of Doctor Voodoo was able to absorb the power that Sumanguru stole and became the Hulk again, this time with Banner at the controls

But we know that this transformation is temporary and ergo Bruce will need to reclaim the true Hulk’s power if he’s going to stop the Eldest

And we can assume that whatever weapon that Iron Man & Mister Fantastic want to turn the Saguine Tree into will either fall into the hands of The Infernal Hulk or be destroyed once he takes both men down.

So it truly feels like Bruce was right that to stop a Hulk ya need to fight him with a Hulk

But he can’t do it alone so that leads to potential Allie’s Bruce will need and here are my guesses

Doc Sasquatch & Walter Samson

Oh yes the freaky Friday duo, now both men are connected to the gamma and while neither are as strong as Bruce that can still be used as bodies in the war

And heck maybe this will finally undo the swap and put them back to their proper forms

She Hulk

Obviously despite all the drama between the pair over the past decade I’m sure that if Bruce calls Jen will show up to help her cousin, especially when the stakes are so dire

Rick Jones

Now he’s currently depowered buuuuut we know that Rick Jones always finds his way into superpowers one way or another

Maybe he’ll turn back into A-Bomb or perhaps get his own Hulk form

Or heck maybe just use an iron man hulkbuster

But if Bruce calls we know Rick Jones will heed the call.

Amadeus Cho

The formerly ‘Totally Awesome Hulk’ and currently Brawn

This kid isn’t afraid of a little action and Bruce would be a fool not to call him

He not only can help fight the Infernal Hulk’s army but can also help Bruce figure out a plan and maybe call his good buddy Hercules for some added might.

The Warbound

Oh yes Bruce & The Hulks war buddies, they haven’t been seen in Hulk projects in a very long time but they are not afraid to pick up their weapons and help serve their Green King (even if he’s currently gray)

This Not so Fantastic Foursome could be just what Bruce needs to turn the tide of battle

And now finally the most obvious candidate for the Banner Army

Skaar,The Son of Hulk

Obviously he’s going to help his father save the world, he might not be too happy with him or his other father but he will not turn away when others need him especially since I fear that the Infernal Hulk will be going after the little critters that worship the Sanguine Tree

But I fear Skaar will be a casualty in the war to come, and might push Bruce over the line

Now that we’ve covered who I suspect will be on Bruce side here are the people I think will not be helping Bruce

Betty

She is always too much of a wild card when it comes to Bruce

Ever since she got her powers she and him have been at odds and we know that The Infernal Hulk is going to be targeting her and I don’t think it’s to kill her

I think he’s going to make her a Faustian bargain, give her her powers back and she’ll serve him

Betty is in an emotional fragile place and she will definitely take this offer which I think should be the seal to finally end her and Bruce’s on again off again relationship.

And now finally for the last person who I think should be part of this army but I highly doubt due to recent events

The Red Hulk

A war against the Hulk? Everyone agreeing and siding with him? carte Blanche to do whatever he wants in the name of winning?

That has General Thunderbolt Ross’s name written all over it over it

Especially with his team who I call The United States of SMASH!

But due to his involvement in Avengers Armageddon & what’s clearly his inevitable death at the hands of David Colton

I doubt marvel is going to have him in this story line

He’s probably going to pop up when Betty gets taken and be powerless to stop the army

But we won’t see him past that

Which is a shame because this is the perfect event to make him the hero of the story.

Living proof that he was right about the Hulk? C’mon marvel
