How to check your Mark's Chart with someone?

Step 1: Go to Astro.com

Step 2: Go to the corrected Davison chart between you and your person

Step 3: Save the corrected Davison chart to your saved charts

Step 4: Then repeat the process but this time with your corrected Davison chart + your natal. Save that chart.

Step 5: Do the same with your person.

What is a Marks Chart and what does it represent?

The Marks chart shows one's perspective on the relationship and how it affects each individual in the relationship. It shows how one would act within the relationship. The 'you' while in the relationship.

Let's get into the observations!

⋆｡‧˚ʚ🍓ɞ˚‧｡⋆SUN

✿ Sun represents your center focus of the relationship. It can tell you more reasons why you started and why you are in this relationship.

Examples:

A Libra sun could indicate wanting to start a relationship or partnership of some form with that person. You could want a relationship with that person because you see a long-term future with that person.

Whereas a Cancer sun could indicate you starting a relationship because you feel comfortable with them. It can also indicate forming the relationship to seek comfort. You could see them as someone who you want to start a family with.

A Pisces sun could indicate that being in a relationship with them is something you dreamed of or fantasized of. So in a way its like a "dream" relationship for you. A relationship you could have always wanted and you may feel like you manifested into your life.

✿ The Sun can also show how you view the relationship.

Example:

A Pisces sun in the Mark's chart could indicate seeing the relationship through an idealistic lens. It can also cause them to sweep over potential red flags from their partner to fit a certain fairy tale they created in their head.

A Taurus sun in the Mark's chart could indicate seeing the relationship as your "security". It could also indicate seeing the relationship as something transactional. You can also view this relationship as something grounding.

A Leo sun in the Mark's chart could indicate seeing the relationship as something that you're prideful about. You can also see the relationship as something fun and exciting. It can also get you the attention you wanted.

A Capricorn sun could indicate you viewing the relationship as something that could potentially boost your status. A relationship that could help your career ambitions.

✿ Switching Sun signs can indicate adopting traits and personality from each other. 

Example:

If Person A is an Aries Sun natally but a Virgo Sun in their Marks Chart, while Person B is a Virgo Sun natally but an Aries Sun in their Marks Chart, they may act a lot like one another because they start to adopt each other's trait. Person A could become more routine-oriented and analytical while person B may become more impulsive and child-like.

✿ Sun + Mars may show more in detail about what you initially wanted out of the relationship. The sun represents one's self and your own focus while Mars shows what one desires. Both planets are more self-focused. So it's something that you subconsciously or consciously expect out of the relationship.

⋆｡‧˚ʚ🍓ɞ˚‧｡⋆OBSERVATIONS

✿ Those that you have Pisces placements with (especially sun, moon, venus and Juno) in your mark's chart could indicate you seeing them with rose-tinted glasses as Neptune rules over illusion and fogginess.

✿ Having Aries placements in the Mark chart could indicate you being the more passionate one in the relationship. 

✿ Also Aries placement in the Mark chart can also indicate being the “chaser” in the relationship. Usually, the one to initiate things to happen. 

✿ Having multiple Scorpio placements in the Mark chart can indicate wanting a more private relationship with your partner. 

✿ Having 10th house placements in Mark’s chart can indicate bringing the relationship to public (especially moon and venus). 

✿ Scorpio placements in Mark’s chart can indicate a ride-or-die relationship but it can also indicate jealousy or envy. It can show complicated feelings or hard feelings towards each other and may also indicate not liking each other but keeping that feeling lowkey unless you have it in more public houses.  

✿ Also, the partner with Scorpio placements (especially sun or venus) in their mark chart tends to seek control/power within the relationship. They can be seen as controlling and possessive. Usually, you’ll see them being the ones with power in the relationship the relationship always heads in the direction they want.

The Difference Between The Relationship Charts

This is my attempt to differentiate between the relationship charts that i currently know of, based on how they are calculated or erected.

This post is not a reference on how to calculate each chart, and is 100% my opinion.

The Synastry Chart

Calculated: This chart is erected by overlaying person A's natal chart on person B's chart, and then calculating the aspects that are formed between the respective planets and points. For e.g. the aspect that person A's sun makes to person B's sun, and the same for the moon and ascendant and so on.

Meaning: Because of this, the chart symbolizes how easily (good aspects) or how difficult (bad aspects) the different functions/energies for one person's planets meet or flow or interact with the other.

The Synastry Chart uses aspects between like planets or points to tell how person A's energy meets/clashes with person B's energy; where they interact.

The Composite Chart

Calculated: This chart is erected by finding the midpoint between the respective planets and points of each person's natal chart, and then a new chart is erected with the midpoint position of the planets being the new position for the planets in the composite chart. For e.g. if person A's moon is in 7° Aries, and person B's moon is in 3° Gemini, then the midpoint between the moons, i.e. 15° Taurus, is the position for the composite moon.

Meaning: Because of this, the chart symbolizes how the two individual planets or points merge (i.e. composite) into a new planet/point or each person into a new whole.

The Composite Chart uses midpoints between like planets/points to tell how person A's energy blends with person B's energy; where they compromise.

The Davison Chart

Calculated: This chart is erected by finding the midpoints between the times of birth and the places of birth of the two persons. This creates actual natal data with an actual time and place of birth.

Meaning: Because of this, this chart symbolizes how the two original people created a new potential/event (or person) from their own individual whole energies.

The Davison Chart uses midpoints between the birth dates and place to tell what happens after/ the effects when person A and B's energies meet and merge; where they create potential.

The Marks Chart

Calculated: This chart is erected using the midpoints of the birth data on the Davison Chart, and the birth data of another person that is a part of the first Davison Chart.

Meaning: Because of this, this chart symbolizes how an individual is affected by the new whole that they are a part of.

The Marks Chart uses the Davison Chart and a Natal Chart from one person in the relationship to create a new Davison chart that tells how the relationship affects the individual; where potential meets individual

In conclusion, Synastry desribes how two individuals interact; Composite tells how to individuals compromise; Davison tells how two individuals create purpose; Marks tells how either individual is affected by the purpose.

The Marks Chart acts as a mirror. Moon in 1st House more focused on their own feelings in relationships, tends to be self-centered, values the relationship, enthusiastic and proactive

Moon in 2nd House more concerned about money and values in relationships, needs to consider financial matters when with you, and may have possessive tendencies

Moon in 3rd House Communication and interaction are important in relationships, enjoys chatting and gossiping with you, and may meet online

Moon in 4th House Emotional value and security are prioritized in relationships, sees you as family, feels close and cozy when together, and experiences warmth

Moon in 5th House Fun and happiness are key in relationships, enjoys your company, finds joy and sweetness when together, and has a playful time

Moon in 6th House Practical and responsible in relationships, willing to serve and take care of the partner, and can be submissive

Moon in 7th House Craves companionship in relationships, considers the partner as a potential spouse, and values the relationship greatly

Moon in 8th House Strong possessiveness and control over you, emotional fluctuations in relationships, mistrust and suspicion

Moon in 9th House Enjoys discussing life ideals, philosophy, and travel with you, conversations often touch on spiritual knowledge, seeks mental resonance

Moon in 10th House Values the relationship, respects your opinions, considers practical matters when together, responsible, and hopes for a long-lasting future

Moon in 11th House Feels relaxed with the partner, sees them as a friend, discusses life plans and may engage in social activities together, possibly meeting online

Moon in 12th House they may have a secret crush on you, shows compassion and dedication, but may hide feelings, ambiguous relationships that are difficult to progress, may feel fated

Public image - Aspects to consider whether the public perceives both as suitable for marriage

1. Juno - Marriage asteroid 2. Ascendant - Rising sign 3. 7th House Ruler ✧

Taurus - Cancer - Capricorn  If these signs are predominantly Taurus, Cancer, or Capricorn, the public may see the two of you as a suitable or excellent choice for marriage. But the perception from the public does not necessarily reflect your true connection.

From the perspective of compatibility charts, the simplest understanding is as follows:

Composite Chart vs Davison ChartThe Composite Chart represents how others perceive "you as a couple," while the Davison Chart represents how you perceive "your relationship" in the later stage.

Understand that how others see "you as a couple" may differ from your feelings

These two charts also are heavily influenced by transits.

Observation on the following scenarios:

Composite Chart - the public image that will be affected by external factors; Davison Chart - development in a later stage depends on the effort they put in

The Davison chart may not be favorable, but the aspects in transits are positive/harmonious, keeping the couple continuously involved and unable to break apart.

The Composite Chart may be favorable, making the couple appear as a "perfect match" in the eyes of the outside world, with the support of family and friends, making marriage easier.

The Composite Chart may have unfavorable aspects in transits, but the transits in the Davison chart are postive. Although there may be external resistance, both parties are satisfied internally and unwilling to separate. Whether they can get married or not depends on how much effort they are willing to put into the relationship.

The Composite Chart has favorable transits, but the transits in the Davison Chart are unfavorable. Despite the personal dissatisfaction, various external factors and conflicts make it difficult for the couple to break up.

The more aspects Lilith forms with personal planets, the harder it is to forget after a breakup, especially aspects with the Sun, Moon, and Venus in Marks Chart.
