What he initially thought was some kind of fucked-up fetish becomes even more disturbing as he realizes that you're serious. There are benefits to it, admittedly. Getting proper care and being kept away from the people who want to use and hurt him is shamefully nice, but it comes at the cost of a lot more isolation. F gets lonely easily without the constant (negative) attention he was used to, and becomes annoyingly clingy and affectionate to cope.
Love1
For someone who relies so heavily on his wits and manipulation skills to get by, this is a nightmare. Not only is it downright offensive that you'd think he's no smarter than an animal, the lack of any means to shape situations in his favor feels dangerous. Love1 plays into the joke at first (it's so ridiculous, he can't help it), but the joking quickly stops as he realizes you're serious. Getting proper care, for once, isn't bad, but these are horrible circumstances for it...
Gras
It's infuriating. He can't charm his way into special favors, can't escape his misery with a good fight or fuck, he's just stuck like this, treated like some overgrown pet. Your little kink was cute enough to indulge at first, but he quickly grows tired of the patronizing treatment and lack of access to human pleasures. Lashing out over it doesn't even get him attention anymore, since you think he's too stupid to know any better. It's awful. He's miserable. He hates this.
Marks
This is working out wonderfully for him! Marks loves attention of any kind if it's coming from Master, and he's too stupid to fully realize that you're treating him like a dumb animal— or that such treatment might be considered a bad thing. He's delighted to be pet, given orders, and allowed to follow you around like the overly clingy shadow he wants to be. Even if he did figure out that you're treating him like a dog, he wouldn't really mind. Master is happy! All is well!
Ghost, F, Gras, Love1 and Fal with a master who behaves professionally but lets their hands find the guns just a bit too often to be wholly casual. It's very clear master wants them, but they never act on it.
Ghost
The implication of want should be frightening, but it feels different when it's his Master putting their hands on him. You're not forcing anything or treating him cruelly, and the thought that you want him, even for this, is dizzying. He quickly starts hoping you'd act on your desires, if only to make sure you don't move on to someone else.
F
The desire is nothing new, but how long it's taking is just plain stress-inducing. He flirts back and openly encourages your touches, and his fucked-up nerves mean that even the light handling can get him visibly aroused. You're surely going to give in and use him sooner or later— everyone does, he's just waiting for it to happen now.
Gras
If you imply you want him and don't go any further, he takes it as an insult. What's wrong with him? Why won't you just do it? What do you think is so off-putting that you won't just fuck him? He'll act out to try to tempt you into either giving in to your urges or getting so sick of him that you push him away and punish him for trying.
Love1
He hasn't had to deal with this situation before, and it feels like a threat waiting to happen. He acts as oblivious as possible, killing the mood with dumb jokes and excuses in the hopes you'll give up on him. If he has to choose between being wanted as a toy and disliked as a failure, he'd rather put you off from pursuing him entirely.
Fal
This is an absolute nightmare for him. Being wanted in the same way as his brother is his greatest fear, and this situation feels like it's bound to turn into the same kind of abuse. He works harder and harder trying to prove he's worth more not as a toy, but the stress wears him down more and more. He can't fully hide his fear.
