Couch here! Just finished this story! You can find the full thing here or continue to read it below!
Summary:Â After the introduction to Remus, Roman goes back into the mindscape to find that the injury his brother bestowed upon him is worse than he thought, but he doesn't want the others to know. Too bad nothing gets past Logan.
Warnings: Light Blood, Mentions of a Wound, Whump, Mentions of âDucking Outâ
There is some implied Logince, and we have a whump Roman! Enjoy!Â
When Roman sunk up from Thomasâ living room into the common room of the mindscape, he gave a tired sigh. What a day. The confusion, the fear, Thomas being introduced to his brother. Something that Roman had hoped would never happen, the fear that Thomas would see the worst version of him. Remus, his brother, a long lost friend and confidante, now twisted in ways that Roman couldnât understand. He was the one who left them for the Dark Sides, it was his fault! But there was a part of Roman that knew that that wasnât true. Roman could have been more present in his brotherâs life. He could have done better. But his pride stood in his way. A part of Roman hurt just thinking about it, so he usually just chose to not think. But it hurt. It really hurt. Actually, his head was killing him, why-
Oh. Thatâs right. Remus hit him with his morning star. God, how hard did he hit him? Roman raised his hand to the back of his head, lightly examining the wound, hissing in pain and pulling his hand back when he felt a wave of pain roll through his skull. He looked at his hand, seeing that it was now covered in blood. Damn, Remus really hurt him. He frowned when he heard Patton, Logan, and Virgil all sink up in the common room, clearly also shaken from the event of the day. Remus was a lot to handle. Logan looked at the Prince curiously as Patton turned to him, a worn out smile on his face.Â
âEverything okay, kiddo?â Patton asked.
Roman shoved his hand behind his back, hoping no one noticed.Â
âYeah, yep. Everythingâs A-okay padre!â Roman shot Patton a finger gun and gave a bright smile, praying that Logan wouldnât notice that the smile didnât reach his eyes.
âThatâs pretty lighthearted for someone who ran into their long estranged twin today,â Virgil quipped, his hands folded in the pocket of his hoodie. He looked at Roman questioningly. Logan was staring a hole through his head. Roman knew he had to get out of there quickly before they caught on.Â
âYeah, well, today has been a bit exhausting, Iâm gonna go to bed.â Roman quickly sputtered, backing towards the exit. Logan narrowed his eyes.Â
âStop.â Logan commanded, the Prince stopping dead in his tracks. He began to sweat. Dammit, he wasnât fast enough.Â
âAre you hurt, kiddo?â Patton asked, his face creased with worry.Â
âN-noâŚâ Roman stammered, looking away from them.Â
âThen show me your hand.â Logan demanded, stepping closer towards Roman. Roman took a step back and shoved his hand further out of their view. Virgilâs eyes widened at the realization.Â
âYou ARE hurt!â the anxious side exclaimed, a look of horror across his face. âRemus really hurt you today.âÂ
âOh please, itâs merely a scratch, Doctor Gloom. I have had worse!â Roman argued. Patton and Logan were getting closer to him. Pattonâs face was washed in worry.Â
âKiddo, we can help you.â he spoke softly.Â
Roman turned away from him, looking at the floor.Â
âIâll be fine, I always am.âÂ
âNot if you donât get proper medical attention,â Logan interrupted, his mouth pressed in a firm line but his eyes unusually soft. âLet us help you.âÂ
Roman sighed and slowly revealed his hand, bloodied from the cut on his head. Patton gave a small gasp. Virgil didnât take his eyes off of the hand, horrified. Roman allowed Logan to come behind him and inspect his wound. He felt Logan tense behind him. After a long while, Logan let out a sigh.Â
âIt will need stitches,â he declared. âVirgil, please go to my room and get the first aid kit. Patton, please help Roman to the couch so that I can dress his wounds.âÂ
In an instant, the sides spurred to action, Virgil disappearing from the room and Patton at Romanâs side, putting his arm around him and leading him to the couch, letting Roman lay his head on his lap. Virgil returned, kit in hand. He sat on the couch next to them, his face pale with concern. The two shared a look as Patton looked up at Logan, tears in his eyes. Logan shook his head, as if answering some unspoken question.Â
âHeâll be alright, Patton, I promise. I will take good care of him.â Logan assured, gently touching the back of Romanâs head, studying the cut. Patton nodded quietly. Upon hearing these words, something in Romanâs chest swelled up. To be cared for, it felt nice. He typically just bandaged his own wounds from the imagination, sitting in his room, cleaning his cuts. But this, this felt nice. Roman knew that his friends liked him enough. Patton was always affectionate towards him, but that was Patton. He and Virgil warmed up to each other, they protected one another. And Logan, well he tolerated him, he guessed. Logan was never really present, always shut up in his room reading. Roman often found himself wondering if Logan was being nice to him because he had to, not because he wanted to. But to see him analyzing his wound so gently, it stirred something in Roman. He began to feel hot tears prick at his eyes. Try as he might to push them down, Roman failed. The tears came, rolling down his cheeks silently. He began to shake, gasping for air. Logan yanked his hand back as if he had touched a hot stove. His eyes were wide.Â
âDid I hurt you?â he inquired. Roman shook his head, burying his face in Pattonâs lap.Â
âNo,â he cried, his voice muffled, âThatâs not it. I can handle pain. Itâs just-â He began to sob again.Â
âOh, kiddo,â Patton murmured, âIs it because you saw your brother?â Roman shook his head once more.Â
âN-noâŚâ he stammered, âIt-itâs that y-you care.â Patton rubbed his shoulder.Â
âOf course we care about you kiddo!â Patton smiled, âWe always have!â Virgil nodded in agreement.Â
âBut-but why?â Roman stammered, âI-Iâm not worth caring about.â The sides raised their eyebrows at that.
âYes you are!â Patton began, âYouâre confident, youâre handsome, youâre so creative-â
âThatâs all a ruse!â Roman whimpered. âIâm not confident and Iâm not good enough to be Thomasâ creativity. I donât know why you all even bother putting time into me.âÂ
âWho told you that?â Virgil demanded. He looked angry. âIf Deceit even so much mentioned that to you-â Â
âNo!â Roman interrupted, âThis is all my conclusion. Iâve always been a problem. Maybe Remus had the right idea, maybe Thomas should âhold the Romano lettuceâ.âÂ
âFalsehood.âÂ
Roman lifted his head to turn towards Logan. The logical side had a look of determination in his eyes, a look that he made when he usually argued about something he was particularly passionate about. He looked into Romanâs eyes.Â
âYou are worth it. Your creativity has driven Thomas into a good career, your creativity has made him wildly popular, you have made him happy. He has been statistically happier when you took the reins in the career department. Thomas has always loved you, you have been one of his favorite facets of his personality. To get rid of you now would be unproductive and pointless. You are exactly where you are meant to be. I appreciate your work and your company. I would be...upset if you werenât here. With us.â Loganâs eyes were filled with honesty. It was clear that he meant every word. Roman sniffled.Â
âYou mean that.â he stated.Â
âI do.â Logan nodded.Â
âYou make us better.â Virgil quoted.Â
âAnd we sure love having you around!â Patton exclaimed.Â
Roman looked at his friends. His family. He smiled and wiped a tear from his face.Â
âVery princely of me, to spill my guts in front of everyone. What a hero.â Roman noted, sniffling as he spoke.Â
âHey!â Patton exclaimed, a faux stern look on his face, âItâs very heroic to cry!âÂ
âYeah, pump the breaks Princey,â Virgil smirked, âit happens to the best of us.âÂ
Patton interjected again, âYouâd better not repress those feelings, kiddo, or Iâll have to punch ya!â Virgil and Roman laughed. Logan cleared his throat.Â
âIf you all donât mind, I really need to give him stitches, if you would hold still.â Logan ordered. âRoman, this will hurt.âÂ
Roman shrugged, âIâm used to it, hit me with your best shot, Specs.â Logan rolled his eyes.Â
âPrep.â he said.Â
âNerd.â Roman shot back, smiling into Pattonâs lap.Â
Once Logan had finished the stitches and cleaned the wound, all four of them settled on the couch and turned on a Disney movie, âBeauty and the Beastâ per Romanâs request. Patton was the first one to fall asleep, followed by Virgil at the âBe Our Guestâ number (to Romanâs horror, as that act was a âmasterpieceâ). By the time Belle and the Beast were dancing, Roman, too, felt his eyes droop. It had been a long day. He sighed.
âLogan,â he said.Â
âHm?â the logical side responded.Â
âThank you.âÂ
Roman fell asleep soon after, but before he did, he could have sworn he saw the other side smile.Â

Now on with the show!!!
Four day, sixteen hours, forty-seven minutes and counting. All things considered it was not the longest amount of time Roman had been stuck there and it certainly wasnât the worst. Not when he had such wonderful friends. Still, the seclusion was taking its toll and he was fairly certain that they could feel it as well.
At first, the other three sat with him as a group. They would chat on about this or that, make jokes, laugh and carry on as if nothing was wrong. Then they would leave. They claimed it would only be briefly but each time Roman was left along he felt as if time had stopped; as if he were forced into a parallel universe where nothing made sense and his friends would never return! He could feel the cold lonely fingers of (very) early dementia creeping up his spine.
Then⌠They would return and they would continue on as if nothing were amiss.
Eventually, with Creativity out of commission, the other sidesâ duties began to demand more and more of their time. Roman half expected them to forget about him. He wouldnât blame them of course. Yet, instead of leaving him again, Logan set up a rotating schedule so that someone would be present at all time. The relief and joy Roman felt at the knowledge of his friendsâ caring attentive thoughtfulness brought him to tears.
Patton volunteered to be the first watch. The sweet sugary man certainly brought enough sunshine and dad jokes with him to have Roman cracking a smile despite his un-princely state. The would try and play Uno and Go-fish though Roman couldnât see the cards, forcing Patton to call out the cards in his hands to him (which ultimately made for a strange game indeed); or Patton bring up stories Roman had told him once or twice, or the memories of the things Thomas created. It was an obvious attempt to both comfort and inspire the Creative Side, though it never seemed to quite manage it.
The first time Patton left to collect Logan, Roman panicked. The walls seem to close in on him once more and the pressure in his chest seemed to increase until it couldnât move to breathe (not that he needed to).
Somehow, when the Logical side arrived, he seemed to simply know Romanâs emotional state without a word being spoken. Logan took his time in calming the man. He talked in a low even voice, instructing Roman to focus on his breathing (a technique Roman had witness him using on Virgil countless times). At first, the Prince seemed to resist but as he slowly came down from his panicked state, he managed a small murmur of thanks to the other side.
Afterwards Logan had sat with him, discussing the designs for a small clock that sat just outside the door and would inform Roman of the time or count down for him. Logan reassured the man that it would assist in calming them if there was a need for the sides to leave him for any amount of time. Roman could never thank the man enough.
Virgil visited him next. The anxious side seemed to be having almost as much trouble as Roman. Virgil reassured Roman that everyone was doing their best, but his voice was unusually distorted. The darker side seemed to be at war with his own demons, trying to keep himself together in Romanâs absence.
At first, they would talk here and there about music or movies but as Virgilâs voice worsened, he became more and more silent. Eventually he stopped speaking all together and they would just sit, each with their back against the door, listening to his newest play list.
The first two days went on like this without a hiccup. Roman could time his three friendâs rotation almost to the second. UntilâŚ
âWall-E what time is it?â he called to the little clock outside his door.
âThe time is two twenty-seven A.M.â it called back making him frown. Virgil was almost half an hour late. That did not bode well.
âGetting tired of talking to dear old Dad already, Kiddo?â Pattonâs voice teased lightly.
âIts not that Padre.â Roman sighed, checking his frayed and stained reflection in the mirror. He would give almost anything just to have the power to summon some new clothes or a shower.
âYouâre worried about Virgil.â Patton supplied for him, his frown obvious in his voice. âHe /has/ been taking it pretty hard. Youâre usually right by his side to calm him whenever everything becomes too much for him. Without his rainbow knight in sparkling armor heâs been a little lost.â he admitted. âBut donât worry Kiddo! Iâm sure everything is going to be fine! Me and Lo are going to take real good care of you both!â
Despite Moralities reassurance a sense of dread began to settle over them all. They could feel Thomasâ anxiety growing; and with Virgilâs absence it meant that the darker side was worried about his control slipping. Everyone was walking on eggshells.
The days continued on, Logan and Patton taking turns to keep Roman company. He was almost certain that they didnât bother disturbing Virgil. When Anxiety got this bad it was best to leave him be and allow him to focus on his coping mechanisms. Roman owed them all so much for everything he was putting them through.
Unfortunately, during one of Loganâs sessions with Creativity he was pulled away. Tax season was coming up and Thomas was determined to do it on his own this year; which meant overtime for their Logical side.
âWall-E, how long has it been since I set the timer?â Roman called.
âTen minutes and fourteen seconds.â the robotic voice came.
That was it? Just ten minutes?! He wasnât sure how long he could take this. Maybe if he could get ahold of Morality somehow? Then again, he knew the man was working hard in his absence as well. Thomasâ dream were usually Romanâs and Loganâs responsibility. They would shift through all of Thomasâ memories for the day and while Roman processed them through his creativity, Logan would file them away for Morality. Patton however, was doing his best to pick up the slack now that the Creative side was locked away. The poor guy was no doubt exhausted.
âWall-E, what time is it?â Roman called again.
âHalf past a dolphinâs butthole and a quarter âtil its snout.â the robotic voice replied making Roman pause in surprise. It took a moment before the words truly sank in and Roman gave a heavy sigh.
âRemus.â he grumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose in exasperation. This was the last thing he needed. âWhat are you doing here?â
Without warning the door burst open and the other half of Thomasâ creativity strode into the room, a large grin splitting his face.
âI canât just visit my favorite brother?â he asked. Roman wasnât quite sure how to answer the very green man. His gaze was glued to the door, his mind trying to figure out how the other had managed to get it open. âYou look wonderful!â he chirped, bouncing on his heels excitedly âAnd you smell like my dirty socks! Grunge really does suit you!â
âRemus how did youâŚâ Roman began, trailing off in his confusion as he pointed towards the door.
Remus glanced over his shoulder at the polished wood and shrugged before hurrying over to Romanâs vanity and sitting down to bush his grim covered locks.
âDeceit told me you were stuck in here⌠Though it took me a few days to get it out of him; the sly snake.â Remus giggled. âHe really can be a handful.â The words were spoken almost affectionately.
Roman still didnât respond, or even complain about the clumps, of what he assumed was soot?, Remus was getting in the bristles of his favorite brush. Instead he rushed to the door and stepped out, paused, stepped back in. This had to be some sort of trick.
âOooo! Lipstick!â Remus applauded excitedly before biting down on the red cylinder.
âRemus, how did you get in here?â Roman demanded finally. The other glanced up at the tone and rolled his eyes before standing, still chewing on the crimson substance.
âDespite the fact that you try to deny it, Roman. I /am/ Thomas' creativity as well.â he pointed out. âI was locked in my room for two days before I managed to get out. Best sleep Iâve had in ages!â he grinned, red staining his teeth. âI was enjoying my time alone so much I was sad to see it go. I figured you would be too.â Remus shrugged before moving to start digging in Romanâs dresser, absently tossing the clothes (that hadnât been in there a moment ago) onto the floor. âBut I could feel Anxiety starting to lose control and das no good for anyone.â he shrugged absently. âSo, here I am, saving the day.â
âBut how?!â Roman demanded again, earning another giggle from behind that horrid mustache.
âOh, I just gave Thomas the most wonderful urge to paint two dogs going at it on the empire state building.â he grinned triumphantly. âAnd Logic actually allowed it to go through. You should see it, it was a masterpiece!â he bounced on his toes, applauding once more.
âLater brother⌠I promise.â Roman reassured, his own grin appearing for the first time in ages. âI need to go check on Virgil!â he added, already rushing through the open door and sprinting down the hall.
Remus stood among the piles of clothes, staring after his brother for a long moment before shrugging and surveying the room.
âI wonder if he still has those bath bombsâŚ. I could go for something savoryâŚâ He mumbled to himself as he headed for the closet.
Warnings: panicking thoughts, angst, hurt/comfort mild language, knife mention, one innuendo (itâs just a really bad joke from Roman)

âWell, today I thought we could talk a bit about my life as a single man?â Thomas said. âWhile Iâm okay, and happy, I do think it would nice to have a boyfriend.â
âWell, of course, kiddo,â Patton smiled comfortingly. âBut thereâs nothing wrong with wantinâ someone to cuddle with!â
âI, personally, think it is fantastic idea,â Roman added, a bit to grandly for Virgilâs tastes. To be fair, most things Roman did were a bit too grand for Virgilâs tastes. âWe can dive in, and hopefully at the end get someone to dive in us.â He raised an eyebrow at his own joke, prompting a round of groans from the other sides.
âYeah, we can dive more into how I end up ruining every relationship youâve ever had.â Virgil sighed, fiddling with the edge of his hoodie. As much as he tried, he couldnât help but bring the entire room down.
âVirgil, breathe. Weâve talked about this.â Logan grabbed Virgilâs hand and looked him dead in the eyes, steely blue bouring into his own. âThe thoughts youâre experiencing are purely a result of irrational thinking and a tendency to blame yourself.â Virgil glanced at the ground, but Logan squeezed his hand to make him match the gaze again. âYou are valued and you are a crucial part of us. Weâve seen what could happen without you, you are lovely and so, so, important.â He dropped his voice to a low whisper. âTo me especially.â
A small smile danced across Virgilâs lips, he couldnât help it when it came to his boyfriend. The moment was broken, however, when Patton let out a high-pitched squeal.
âYou guys are just so cute!â He exclaimed, causing heat to flush to Virgilâs cheeks.
âTheyâre blushing, how adorable,â Roman chimed in. âBut back to the topic at hand, how do you all believe we should go about this matter?â
âI propose we all think of what we appreciate in a man, and how those standards apply to our picking an object of affection.â Logan suggested, adjusting his glasses. âWe can then use those core values to figure out who might be our next,â He paused, flipping through his pile of flashcards, ââbaeâ.â
Thomas winced, and Virgil himself smirked at the rather...old slang. âThat oneâs a little outdated, Logan. But I do like the idea. Should we just, I donât know, go around and say whatâs attractive to us in a guy?â
âBeauty, of course.â Roman started, shimmying his shoulders slightly.
âNot only that!â Patton chimed in. âHe has to be kind, and appreciate you are as a person, Thomas.â Thomas nodded in agreement.
âHe has to be able to put up with me.â Â Virgil said, earning a skeptical look from Logan. âI mean, he has to be okay with you at your worst, and be able to comfort you. Lo, you have anything to add?â
âWell, personally I believe intelligence is the most attractive quality in any person.â Logan said, and the honesty in his face stung a little to Virgil. âI believe that the only way for someone to be worthy of a relationship is to have a lot of intelligence, and only then are they the perfect match.â A knife twisted within Virgil, deep in his stomach. It felt like it was slicing open all the butterflies, one by one. He felt the air thicken in his lungs, a weight starting to settle on his chest, and his mind had one objective: ârunâ.
âIâm gonna have to, uh, sink out.â He said suddenly, interrupting whatever Patton was saying. He saw the other side open his mouth to stop him, but Virgil just sank down into his own private oblivion.
Is that really what Logan wants? Someone super smart? Virgil wasnât smart, he wasnât nearly good enough for Logan. He wasnât ever good enough for him, how did he ever think he was? He was so stupid for thinking that he actually deserved Logan, how could he be so stupid, this whole thing was just because he was so stupid, he wasnât good enough for a boyfriend, why couldnât he just be good enoâ
âVirgil!â A voice boomed through his thoughts, and he felt himself be yanked from his room, back to their shared area.
âVirge, kiddo, are you okay?â Patton knit his brow, a concerned look overtaking his features.
âUh, me? Iâm totally good.â He swallowed, pulling his hood down to cover his face, puffy from tears he didnât realize had been shed.
âDude, youâre definitely not âtotally goodâ.â Roman said.
âLook, just cause Iâm not the smartest doesnât mean I donât know when Iâm alright.â Virgil snapped. âIâm. Fine.â
âIs that what this is about?â Virgil turned to Logan at the sound of his voice. For the first time, it was so small, and so, so, hurt. Virgil almost started crying again, he didnât want to hurt Logan at all. âYou think that I donât believe that youâre intelligent?â
âWell, Iâm not smart at all compared to you.â Virgil couldnât bring himself to look at his boyfriend.
âWHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN?â Logan shouted, causing all the sides to jump back. âIâm sorry, Virgil, but that is bullshit.â Virgil finally looked up at him, and those eyes, oh god, those eyes. Eyes that held the wonders of the world, the beauty of complexity, and the heart that was so pure on the inside. âThere is no one way to be âsmartâ.â He held up air quotes. âIntelligence can come up in a number of ways, and yours is by far my favorite.â
âReally?â
âOf course.â He adjusted his glasses, preparing for a long explanation. âThe standard system has a way of measuring intelligence, by memorizing, and basic logic skills. This however, doesnât compared to what you have. You think of every possible scenario, and analyze them to all hell and back. You find details that all of us miss, and you make every plan fool-proof. You caution us, and though it is sometimes irrational, it is still incredibly intelligent. You make us all complete, and you keep Thomas safe.â His gaze softened, tone as sincere as it could be. âYou are incredible. And I love you for it.â
Virgil felt tears fall as he was pulled into Loganâs tight embrace, large arms wrapping around him securely. âI love you, too.â He mumbled into his boyfriendâs shirt, and buried his face in his chest.
Yo, sup, âyou deserve so much better.â for the sentence thing with Platonic Logince. Cause I'm trash. K bye.
Next drabble is up! Hope you enjoy friend!Â
send me sentences from here with a sanders sides pairing and Iâll write a gt drabble!
âCan we get a dollhouse?â Roman said after a few minutes of silence. Logan looked down at the little borrower next to him, standing on the spare pillow on the bed.
âWouldnât that feel a bitâŚdemeaning?â Logan asked, surprised at the question. âAfter all, youâre not a doll.â
âWell, itâd be better than this.â Roman gave the spare pillow below him a kick. âIâve just been sleeping on this oversized, second-hand pillow.â
âWhat? And you deserve so much better?â Logan teased.
âExactly!â Roman nodded, not catching Loganâs sarcasm. âNot to sound ungrateful, but weâve come a long way, and I think I deserve my own bed.â
âThatâs fair.â Logan took a moment to process the idea. It had crossed his mind a few times before, but he hadnât wanted to offend the very proud (and stubborn) borrower with such a suggestion. It would be nice for Roman to have his own space.
âYes, I think we can do that.â Logan pulled his laptop up onto his lap, beginning to look for one online. âAlthough what made you think of it?â
âI saw one in the background of the book I was reading.â Roman explained, climbing down off the pillow. He had recently taken to reading fairy tales that often had elaborate pictures. Logan was more than happy to help Roman access these, seeing as Roman couldnât exactly use the library himself, although Logan did wish that Roman would read more educational texts.
Seeing Roman approaching, Logan picked him up and put him on his shoulder so he could see as well. Roman held onto Loganâs shirt collar, eyes shining with excitement as he looked at the computer screen.
âThat one!â Roman pointed, and Logan stopped scrolling.
âRoman, I canât see which one youâre pointing at.â Logan reminded him. It was difficult for him to see the borrower when Roman was sat on his shoulder.
âThe one with the gold.â Roman described it. âAnd the columns, and the big staircaseâŚâ Logan clicked on it, eyes widening at the price. He had no idea dollhouses were so expensive.
âWhat?!â Roman gasped as Logan clicked back to the main menu. âThat one was perfect!â
âAnd impractical.â Logan said, resuming his scrolling. âYou donât need a whole mansion.â
âYes, but I want one.â Roman retorted.
âBesides, itâs far too large.â Logan explained. âWe have nowhere to put it.â
âThis apartment is mine too, you know.â Roman huffed, crossing his arms in irritation. âI think Iâm entitled to half the space.â
âNice try, but no.â Logan smiled. âYou donât take up nearly enough room to get half the apartment to yourself. Besides, you donât even pay rent.â Logan scrolled down further, looking for something a bit more practical.
âWhat about this?â Logan clicked on a much cheaper option.
âNoooo.â Roman groaned. âThat oneâs ugly.â
ââIt doesnât have to be pretty, it has to be functional.â Logan rolled his eyes.
âBut itâs not functional either!â Roman looked as Logan viewed it from various angles. âItâs missing a whole half of the house!â
âA lot of dollhouses are made that way to provide easy access for humans.â Logan reminded him. âAfter all, these arenât exactly designed with borrowers in mind.â
âIâll say.â Roman leaned forwards slightly to get a better look. âLook- it doesnât even have stairs. How am I supposed to get up there?â
âUse your climbing hook.â Logan advised.
âMaybe I donât want to pull out my hook everytime I want to travel between rooms in my own home.â Roman emphasised.
âI thought you did that in your old house?â Logan asked, remembering tales of Romanâs home within the walls.
âWell, yes.â Roman admitted. âBut if thereâs an option to avoid that Iâm not doing it again.â
âI think being with me is making you lazy.â Logan observed, but he clicked out of that model to search for a new dollhouse. The two went through a few more designs, getting vetoed for one reason or another. Roman tried to ask for one with a pool before Logan reminded him he couldnât swim. ThenâŚ
âThere!â Roman called out at the same time as Logan clicked on that very dollhouse.
âThis might work.â Logan appraised it. âItâs not too big and provides you some actual privacy. Not to mention itâs cost-effective.â
âI donât love the color though.â Roman frowned, now looking at the inside.
âWell we can paint it.â Logan offered.
âAnd by âweâ you mean you?â Roman looked up at Logan with a grin. Logan reached up his free hand and blindly poked Roman in the side, causing the borrower to quickly regrip the shirt for fear of falling.
âYes, Iâll paint it for you, you diva.â Logan rolled his eyes. âAny other objections?â
âHmm.â Roman rubbed his chin thoughtfully. âNo, it looks alright. It will need some other decorations inside though to liven up the place. Maybe a canopy bed and colored lights. And a disco ball. Maybe a dance floor, but that can wait a little bit. And maybe we can convert that room to have a stageâŚâ
âYouâve been spending too much time on pinterest.â Logan  replied, putting the dollhouse in the cart.
(lol bet you wanted angst huh? Haha i got a fluff idea for once)
