I keep on seeing such shapely art in the motm fandom and it's making me realize my own art needs more shapes
There's a lack of squares
It needs more stylization
That,, of course, would probably require me to learn anatomy as much as i can cuz guess what?? ya gotta know anatomy to some extent so you can stylize it,, at least that's what every cool stylized artist i watch tells me,, so ill be back in like five weeks and we'll see if i actually got off my fat ass to learn something
Hmmemdmmmdmd,,,,,,, shapes 🤤
Woah au spoiler get this outta here eugh ewww pukes rainbows and explodes into wrapped candy that has caramel chocolate inside it
Hi, very sorry if this has already been answered before! Is it possible to romance Welling without going on a date with them in the first section? I know we’re very early on, but I didn’t see any romance options after going to the festival as friends, and I just wanted to double check that I hadn’t locked myself out of their route or anything. Thank you!
Yes! If you decline the date in the prologue, Welling will admit to Dion that they had a crush on MC and sort’ve hint that they still do. If you didn’t have many if any romance flags with Welling in the prologue, then the romance will be more subtle. In that situation, Welling only considers MC to be a friend/acquaintance and so MC will need to be more forward if they have an interest. There is an initial option when you first greet them at orientation. It’ll either be before or after you speak with Trivelyn depending on who you went to the festival with. You haven’t locked yourself out!
i think this is the first time ive ever wished bad on aerin frankel.......
OK so I'm thinking about the amount of stuff I've been seeing over the last few months about people wanting to unplug, to lock out & to be chronically offline. I've also seen some stuff about Gen Z & Millenials forgetting how to spell without predictive text helping them. After 2030, schools in my country aren't planning on teaching kids to write on paper, they'll only be expected to type. All of this is honestly horrific to me.
So I was wondering... would anyone actually want to see some lessons about how to unplug, and how to use analog objects for stuff we usually rely on our phones & tablets for? Would anyone like lessons on handwriting & manual spelling?
When I was at school, we had at least 4 handwriting lessons every week. We had to write everything by hand- math, English, French, Gaelic (our native language); we had to write essays & stories by hand. We were writing on paper & we also had our own whiteboards to write on. The teacher wrote everything on the vertical whiteboard & on the blackboard, and we were also taught how to write on them as neatly as we did in our jotters. We started learning cursive at 8 years old.
I'm now 26, I love using my calligraphy pen, and I'm writing 2 of my books entirely by hand before I'll transcribe them onto my laptop. I love making the stuff in my bullet journal look as aesthetic as possible. I love the smells of inks & books. I love manual photography & I like how cute compact cameras & polaroids are.
So the idea that these things are being whitled away is heartbreaking to me, and I know I'm not the only one feeling that way.
Would you pay to learn how to be chronically offline & happy?
No
Maybe, but only a small amount
Uhh depends on the platform / format
Yeah, I think so
Probably, but only if there were free samples first
Yes
SHUT UP & TAKE MY MONEY
