I love when people tell me that there's no way I actually went to a Blockbuster as someone in I guess the younger half of gen z (19)

Like okay yeah guess I just imagined going to this one specific store to rent movies and get the occasional Wii game with my family using their member card. Guess I just made up memories about the inside of the store. Yeah guess I'm crazy.

It's the same with VHS and Box TVs. My family had one that could use VHS and DVD, and I would spend HOURS on that thing.

I’m in an awkward generation with the whole ‘2026 is the new 2016’ because at the age of seven you’re sentinent enough to know what was going on but not enough to actually understand it.

Another anon but gen z actually have lower iq scores than millenials. This is the first time in recorded history where the newer generation is DUMBER than the previous ones.

I've seen a few articles mention that and if there's any truth to them, we're looking at a pretty fucked up future unless we can figure out how to reverse the generational brain drain.

I don’t get the trend of bashing on Gen Z saying they’re spoiled or dumb.

There has been spoiled and dumb people in absolutely every generation.

Look at some people in their 30,40,50,60,70s around you, I bet some are dumber than a rock too. Plus most old people will be dumber than + nasty, which you still don’t see with all younger people.

Just 5-10 years ago people were complaining about Millennials or whatever young people. Now it’s Gen Z. Everyone is just trying to find someone to bash + Gen Z doesn’t apply as a term to most countries besides America , but because of Americanization people have started using it for young people as a whole.
