easily the most frustrating thing about searching for a literary agent is when they just Don't Reply. i wish it was an industry standard to have an auto-reply confirming your submission and giving a time window in which to expect a response.
even just a one-line email that says 'we got it' and a one-line rejection email that says 'no thanks' would be better than Nothing
