Bubblegum Shoes: The Big Sleepover is Out!
Hi friends!
My Middle Grade novel BUBBLEGUM SHOES: THE BIG SLEEPOVER is finally out today!
It is a madcap pint-sized detective mystery full of wrestling team goons, snot-nosed tech dweebs, Screamo rock, and a sleepover at the school gym where all of this takes place (in under three hours.) Kirkus says itâs a âspirited, twisted caper, with plenty of personality,â and Booklist calls it, âGood olâ tomfoolery.â Which was exactly the vibe I was going for.
I am so excited to have a sequel out in the world and to officially be the author of a series, and itâs such a joy to me that it gets to be this series. If youâve enjoyed any of my comedy-leaning books before you will definitely like this one. And if youâve pre-ordered already THANK YOU SO MUCH! In case you havenât, you can always order it at my local indie, Books of Wonder if youâd like a personalized copy.
And if thatâs too much, well there are still thinks you can do to help an author out, like:
Add the book on Goodreads!
Request the book at your local library. We love libraries!
After youâve read it, Iâd love it if you can leave a review of it on basically any site that has book reviews! (I avoid bad reviews but I am not ashamed to admit that Iâll read all the good reviews because I love to stroke my own ego.)
I appreciate any and all form of your support, especially since this will be my last book on the shelves for a while. But if youâd like to stay up to date on my books, you can sign up for my free newsletter here!
Thanks again, and until next time!

As Tessa and her parents begin their search for Theo, Tessa learns that books not only tell us storiesâthey open portals and unlock our humanity through our most powerful tool: the imagination. Once that truth has been revealed, Tessa won't be able to rest until she has retrieved her twin and society itself has been transformed.

The Sun Trail by Erin Hunter
Dawn Of The Clans(Warriors prequel series) book 1
Started 6/8/24 finished 7/10/26
Originally published: 2013
I've known for a while that I slack off with my reading during Olympic years but has it ever gotten this bad.
This book is only finished book number 4 for 2026. That's it, 4.
I mean there were some other life events that took time away from reading but still, I don't like this.
My favorite of the male cats is Jagged Peak. My favorite of the female cats was Bright Stream.
I have not found a female cat I like more than Bright Stream but I admit that Petal has potential.
Clear Sky, if you let yourself be angry do you know what it would do?
You have potential to be a really good villain if you give in to the anger that comes from losing everything that you have lost.
Come on, get angry, it's fun.
While I was reading this book, I noticed a strong dislike of Gray Wing from other readers.
Gray Wing and I, we are not friends but we are not enemies either. I want to keep reading. See how the author develops his character.
RIP Bright Stream. I wanted you so badly to relize that Clear Sky wasn't good enough for you. I wanted you to do great things. It's not fair.
Anna-Jane and the Endless Summer by Paige Classy
Anna-Jane is thrilled to be back at Camp Chesterâthe one place she feels like she belongs. Sheâs excited to swim in the lake, read in her favorite chair, and swap secrets with her best friend under the stars. But not long after Anna-Jane unpacks her trunk, weird things start happening.
First, townspeople near camp begin disappearing. Then, the internet, cell service, and all other forms of communication are cut off. Soon, Anna-Jane and the residents of Camp Chester realize they are completely alone.
Or so they think. Across the lake, the kids spot a strange flashing light. And when animals begin turning up with yellowed eyes and disfigured limbs, it is clear the dangers are only growing. Most alarming of all, though, is the deepening distrust among the campers themselves, which could have deadly consequences. Anna-Jane knows what to expect from a summer at camp . . . but what happens when camp lasts well beyond the summer?
