hi! This is my first AU! Chapter one is complete! This is probly 13+? Idk it’s Tadc. Warning spelling

Welcome to the amazing digital circus! Where everything is bright and colorful!

 Anything can happen in this world of creativity!…is what i would say if everything…The world is dark in the circus…Some of the lights have gone out…

 Caine usually just fixes them with a flick of his wrist! But…he’s not around? 

The cast has tried looking for him but he’s gone…it all started about a week ago now that I think about it…

/ 7 days ago in the main tent /

Out of nowhere Caine appeared from thin air in a puff of smoke. As usual. The cast is used to it  by now. Almost every day Caine would always enthusiastically explain today’s adventure.

“Hello my baby bobble bees! Today’s adventure is-“ he tried to say something but before he could Zooble sighed. 

"Can't we just take a break from the adventures? Last time I got eaten by a shark!” 

Zooble has been quite set on not going on adventures for a long time. To Caine’s utter disappointment…

“B-But I tried really hard on this one! Come on! You won’t know in-till you try my triangular headed friend!” 

Pomni jumped in. “But Caine we kinda need a break…the past adventures have been…just…a lot.”

 the cast nodded in agreement. Except for Jax who had already f@$#%ed of.

The last adventures have truly been…something. There was escape from the giant shark…there was one where they had to sacrifice eachother…Jax originally liked that one till he realized it was a vote on who got cast out…there was one where they were all bees?…long story.

Caine was confused! He was made to give adventures! Everyday! But nobody wanted one…? 

Well if that’s what would make them happy… That is his main purpose after all.

“…Well…alright then…if that’s what would make you happy!…if you need anything just call my silly little lumps of joy! You know I’m here whenever you need me!” And with a snap of his finger and a flinch of his wrist Caine was back to his office.

 “This is strange!” He exclaimed. “My adventures are supposed to make them happy! But…If they rather not go on them at all…that would…” Caine’s eyes flickered with a red tint in one eye and a blue eye in the other.

 He walked around his office trying to find an explanation…”M-Mabye They just loved my adventures so much they needed to catch their breath! O-or! My adventures are so good that it’s hard to make them any better!…”

He knew that wasn’t true. As much as he wished it was…

”OR MAYBE YOUR ADVENTURES JUST SUCK! :D”

 bubble had poofed into Caine’s office. Without a warning as usual.

 “W-What! Of course not! My adventures are made to be the very best!” Caine sighed. Why was he even listening to bubble?

/ 6 days ago in Caine’s office /

Caine was sitting in his chair trying to come up with an adventure. He had forgotten too the last day which is surprising for him.

 He fidgeted with his pencil and taped his finger on the desk. “What if they go to a giant cave that has…a…large spider nest! And they have to escape without waking them up!”

…no that wouldn’t work. Kinger wouldn’t even try to be quiet. And Ragatha isn’t the biggest fan of bugs…but then last night he thought. 

The no adventure day. It was…quite nice not having to make an adventure. And everyone else was happy…mabye they could have one more day…just to let Cain come up with an idea…yeah…

/ In the main tent /

The group all sat together. Zooble was watching Gangle draw. While Jax tried to get Kinger to say something that I will not say here. 

Zooble spoke up. “Ya know. Last night was actually nice. I didn’t expect Cain to actually let us relax like that.” 

Pomni looked up. “Yeah…it was kinda nice. But it felt wired…”

 Jax creeped up behind Pomni “I thought it was boring! I really was wishing I could push you into a volcano!” He said you with extra emphasis. He was still mad that he didn’t get to last time.

 Then all of a sudden Cain dropped in from above.

“Hello my munchy minchy mubbys! Today’s adventure is…nothing! I saw how well you did last time so why not do it again! I also need time to brainstorm an adventure as I was too busy fixing code to think of one last night!”

 That was a lie. He was just drawing bees.

”I hope you don’t mind! So just…do whatever you amazing humans do I guess!”

Zooble was confused. She was surprised enough it worked last time but again? She was practically in heaven! Well. Digital heaven I guess. “Wait- really? We get to not go one again? Wow! Thanks I guess.” 

Zooble seemed genuinely happy. Usually she’s the only one that stays back but now that everyone is there they all get to hang out! Well she didn’t really care about that. She just was happy to hang out with Gangle.

Cain hearing that was confused…confused? How can he be confused? Anyway- Cain had never had zooble say thanks to him. His pupils quite literally where the size of his eyes. 

“Oh my! Gasp! Zooble? Saying thank you? Too ME? Well your verry welcome my dear!” 

“Don’t push it” zooble said as her antennae twitched.

 Caine was happy…“alright then my friends! I’ll be in my office!”

 And with a snap of his finger he was back in his chair almost vibrating with excitement!

 “BUBBLE! ZOOBLE THANKED ME! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!” 

Bubble was startled. They were eating the candy on his desk and with a mouthful they said. “Wait, really boss? I didn’t know she knew those words!”

 Cain sat on his desk and began to draw. “I KNOW RIGHT!?!” 

Bubble was a bit concerned. “Boss are you alright? You look like your gonna pop! Haha! Get it?!”

 But Caine didn’t respond. “Boss?” Cain flinched. “Oh! Ah! Yes! I’m absolutely amazing! I’m so happy right now! I’m super happy! I’m supper supper extracalfraglisticepealadocis happy!” 

Bubble then responded with a...not so great voice..“Tell daddy bubble what made zooble thank you?” 

Cain stood up. “All I did was!- don’t say that- All I did was not make an adventure today! They were so happy not to go one one that they-“ 

then he realized. He hadn’t done anything to make them happy. In fact that’s why they were happy. 

Caine relized the reason they thanked him was because they didn’t have to go on his adventures…he flew back into his chair.

”b-because I didn’t… make an adventure today…”

/ 5 days ago in Caine’s office /

Caine had been sitting in his chair drawing all digital night. Trying to process that the reason zooble…and now that he thinks about it. Everyone was so happy because they didn’t want to go on an adventure…

”…bubble. Do you think they hate my adventures?”

 Bubble flew out of his hat. “Yeah! why!”

…then it hit him. They don’t like his adventures.

 He’s never seen them this happy. And it is because they are so happy not to go on his adventures…

He felt this weird..strange..feeling in his chest…even though he had no important code there. 

He grabbed at his chest trying to stop it but it just got worse. At the same time all he could think of is…

”they hate my adventures or they just hate me…”

 his chest started to hurt even more. As if something in there was being twisted and stretched and pulled. 

“W-What is th-th-this feel-eeling-“ he started to have trouble breathing…even tho he usually doesn't have to.

 and then something even weirder happened.

 He tasted a strange salty taste.

 And then before he could even understand it he felt water run down his eyes. 

He was confused this had never happened before And then he realized the water…or tears..were coming from him…

”what-what’s going on- what’s happening-…b-bubble tell the cast there will be no adventure…I seem to be needing r-re-repair”

 “ALRIGHTY BOSS!”

/ In the main tent /

The cast was sitting around a bit confused…usually by now Cain would have popped in and scared the sh@# out of them.

 Or at least said something. But it was silent. Gangle (surprisingly) spoke out first.

 “W-where’s Caine? He-he’s usually here by now-“

 then Ragatha responded to gangle.”that’s true! Usually he would be here by now…do you think something is wrong?” 

“Nah! He’s probably just goofing off! Or Maybe cleaning the centipedes in your room doll face!” 

He said with a grinning smile “JAX!!”

Then all of a sudden they herd a pop sound.

 “Oh there you are Caine! We were wondering where you are!” Said Ragatha. 

But Cain wasn’t there.

 It was just bubble. “WRONG AI SILLY! CAINE IS HAVING SOME TECH ISSUES! SO NO ADVENTURE TODAY!”

 Zooble spoke up. “Again? I mean it’s been nice but we are running out of things to do here…”

“NOT MY PROBLEM! BLEH!” 

This was strange. No adventures was nice but it didn’t feel…right…Pomni was getting nervous.

“What’s going on with Caine? Can I go check on him?”

 “NOPE! THATS MY JOB!”

Well okay then…I guess they will have to find somthing else to do…

/ meanwhile in Caine’s office /

Caine is now completely out of it…He’s crying like a child who just got told no!

 He’s trying to get rid of the tears and find whatever is going on with him!

 this is NOT supposed to happen!

 Is it a virus?

 A glitch?

 A mistake in the fabric of time itself in this digital world?!?

…no…it was Caine. He was…

”cr-cry-ing?”

…bubble had told him that it looked as if he was crying. 

But that’s impossible! He was never programmed with real emotions! Just the ability to look like he had them! 

But this wasn’t that. This was real. Real emotions in a not real body.

 After a long time it stopped and he just…floated there Confused…

”what…th-this...was probably just..j-just a bug! A mistake! A mess up! I’m ai after all! Ai can’t have feelings! Or emotions! Or…or cry…it’s impossible! My eyes are just leaking! That’s it!”

/ 4 days. /

The group is in the main circus tent. As usual. They all are a bit confused on what is going on lately with Caine; this has never really happened before.

 Not even Kinger knows what’s going on…then Bubble appears again! 

But with a note inside of him?

 “HELLO MY…silly…uh…” 

his eyes go inside himself to read the note.

” MY SILLY SPECIAL SMARTIES!”

 Everyone was startled. “Bubble? Is Caine still not okay? I’m getting a bit worried…” Pomni tried to keep a smile but inside she was terrified.

 “NOPE HES DOING SH!# BUT HE TOLD ME TO TELL YOU THAT HES DOING GREAT!”

 Zooble stood up “okay cut the crap! What’s going on with him?!”

 “HIS EYES ARE LEAKING!” The entire cast were confused but especially Pomni

 “is he…crying?”

 Bubble ignored her “ANYWAY TODAY'S ADVENTURE IS…UH…whatwasitagain-“

he looked inside himself again.

”OH YEAH. IT'S DRAW THE MOST REALISTIC ANIMAL YOU CAN!”

 Zooble looked at bubble with anger and confusion and a bit of just down right hate.

“that’s not an adventure- that’s just an activity! What the hell's going on with Caine?” 

While everyone was bickering, Pomni snuck out and headed to Cain's office.

 “Jeeze…thank goodness there’s a ladder now…a…verry…verry….long one. . . . Oh go-“

After what felt like eternity she finally climbed up the ladder and headed into Caine’s office.

“Hello?”

She looked for Caine. And there he was. He seemed to be panicking? He didn’t even realize that Pomni had entered.

“Oh goodness. Oh god. How- there’s nothing in my code that has changed!..uh…wait! These parts are missing! Wait no…”

“CAINE!” Pomni shouted to get his attention. 

“! Oh! Pomni! My dear! My jester! My-“

“Are you okay Caine?”

“Me? Not okay? Who put that silly idea in your head!”

“Bubble.”

Caine’s face twisted into a very tired and fed up expression.

“Don’t-Don’t listen to what that silly soapy ball says dear! I’m absolutely great! Terrific!

He was not okay. Pomni could tell. He was shaking his legs and clenching his fists. Not to mention he was breathing unsteadily. Witch is strange. Ai don’t need to breath.

“Caine…what’s going on?”

“I-I don’t know! Something's wrong with my code! There’s some sort of error somewhere! I don’t understand tho! I can’t find it! I can’t see it!”

He was talking at a very fast pace. He always did but this one was…different.

“My stomach! It hurts! I don’t know why! I keep doing weird things! Like breathing! I can breath now! And randomly I need too!”

Pomni was stunned. Why did he have to breath? And all of a sudden? And why can’t he find the error in his code?

Caine clenched his jaw with his hands and curled his legs closer to his chest

“I don’t get it! It’s not normal! It’s strange!”

Pomni was just listening. She truly didn’t know what to do…

And then his eyes…they started to…glitch? Change? One had turned red. The other blue. And not just his pupil his entire eyes…he started to glitch out even more…he started breathing more heavy…like an ai version of a panic attack…

A panic attack? Pomni knows how to deal with those!

“…! Caine! come down here!”

Caine floated down still not looking at her. His eyes still twitching.

“Tell me 3 things you can see Caine.”

“I-I can see my desk- I can-can-can se-see my noteboo-ook and my chair-chair…”
