The grimmsnarl holds himself at a distance at first, before deciding to approach the smeargle.
"I see you've learned Dark Void. Do you often deal with nightmares from Darkrai? I haven't been in Canalave City in years, but I remember some of the sleepless nights."
He muses for a moment, holding a frown.
"Child of the Night. Does this name refer to Dark Types as a whole, or just Darkrai?"
“While I have dealt with nightmares in the past induced by a Darkrai, he has long since left me be. Both he and the Cresselia have sadly returned to be one with the energy of our Universe,” Admyne explains as the scrawl on the side of the rock wall near the ruins. “Their daughter has since taken up their duty, though she takes a bit more after her father.”
“The nightmares were never pleasant, but many did serve as warnings in the past. Luckily, learning their ability does not warrant such terror-filled sleep and has helped me in quelling more rambunctious Unown -and the occasional intruder,” they add with a huff. “But the nightmares I encounter today are limited to Giratina summoning me or Tsuya trying to warn me about something.”
Admyne then adds a few more figures on the wall as the previous painting begins to fade.
“The Children of the Night refer mainly to those associated with Darkrai or Cresselia, including their descendants or emissaries,” they explain.
The large Eevee that had started to hang around the ruins perked up. “Wait.. I understand Umbreon, but Espeon is usually associated with daylight. How are they an emissary to either of them?” He asks.
“While the moon is seen at night, it does appear during the day as well as reflect the light of the sun onto our planet,” Admyne adds. “It may also be due to how intertwined the two evolutions are with the day-night cycle.”
