This recipe for lemon fudge is a great mix of sweet and sour tastes. Smooth white chocolate and tangy lemon make a great treat that's easy to make.
Ingredients: 2 cups white chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. Zest of 2 lemons. 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice. Yellow food coloring optional. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup powdered sugar confectioner's sugar. 1/4 cup lemon zest for topping optional.
Instructions: Wrap parchment paper around an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm square baking pan, leaving extra on two sides to make it easy to take off. Put the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Stir the mixture every 30 seconds in the microwave until it is smooth and all melted. Add the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and a few drops of yellow food coloring, if you want the color to be more lemon-y. Mix in the vanilla extract until it's well mixed in. Put the lemon fudge mix into the pan that has been prepared and spread it out evenly. To make the fudge firm, put it in the fridge for at least two hours. Once the fudge has hardened, use the extra parchment paper to lift it out of the pan. Make little squares or rectangles out of the fudge. For decoration, you can sprinkle lemon zest on top if you want to. Put powdered sugar on top of the fudge. Serve your tasty lemon fudge and enjoy it!
