Cela fait maintenant quelques mois que Laurine et Lionel du GRAVE sont allés dans les écoles du Sud-Médoc raconter l’histoire du Grenome de l'Estuaire. Puis il a fallu attendre que l'hiver passe, et que le niveau d'eau baisse un peu, pour tenter d'aller en apercevoir…

Alors dès que le printemps a pointé le bout de son nez (et les grenomes aussi?), on a profité du beau temps pour partir à leur recherche avec les enfants, dans les marais de Labarde et au Fort-Médoc, en bord d’Estuaire.

Pas de trace probante du passage de grenomes, mais afin de ne pas perdre notre motivation, les enfants du centre de loisir de Macau nous ont partagé leurs poèmes sur les paysages… On ne lâche rien !

There are no trained humans to be contacted online so I have to hope we can talk to the postlady tomorrow or have a carer go to the post office and see if maybe they know something.

It’s a $90 order and I hadn’t considered it cashed yet but what really upsets me is the uncertainty of this: not knowing if any given parcel is going to be rejected and net me a bad score on ebay. Not knowing if items i’ve worked so hard to make are going to be eaten by the system and lost somewhere. I think about them sometimes, there is a fuchsia Hercules Megara somewhere in a pile of lost parcels or in a landfill.

There are 2 laposte parcels travelling to the Netherlands and the States right now that are marked as having left the country so that’s a good sign but who knows. I never did get an answer about my Australia parcel that went to Austria (!) and back and cost me quite the return fees... just a case file that never went anywhere.
