This term refers to the labioscrotal tissue of an intersex person that possesses aspects of both a scrotum and labia in some way. Examples include a bifid scrotum, labial fusion, labia scrotalization, and the labioscrotal tissue in any presentation of ambiguous genitalia.
This word gives intersex people the ability to refer to their body parts without needing to describe them using terms for perisex genitalia anatomy but with an abnormality. Because intersex anatomy is not a defective form of perisex anatomy, it is simply something else.

labioscrotum is a term used to describe labioscrotal folds which cannot be neatly sorted into outer labia or scrotal tissue. examples include smooth skin surrounding a shallow vaginal canal in someone with genitalia that may be considered a penis and marked rugae in someone with genitalia that may be considered a vulva.
yellow and purple were taken from the intersex flag due to labioscrotums being considered a part of ambiguous genitalia. green was chosen for nature. a circle was chosen to "surround" the genitalia. a green line was chosen to show nature, and possible rugae on the genital folds.
Kamui from Gintama is an intersex pansexual aplaroace (link) dāndǐnghè (link) of unlabeled (link) gender using hy/hyr, hy/hym, ix/ixs, and null/nulls pronouns or preferably no pronouns, and hyr variation is De la Chapelle Syndrome with complete gonadal dysgenesis, bilateral athelia, decreased body hair, azoospermia, and ambiguous genitalia consisting of mesospadias (link), a clitorophallus, and a labioscrotum best described as having partial labial fusion!
Hello! Thank you so much for answering questions! I wanted to ask, I’ve seen people say that having a “scrotum texture” could be a sign you’re intersex even if you have otherwise “normal” genitalia (vulva, clitoris, etc.). I always thought this was just one of those “everyone’s different” sort of things, but I don’t really have anything to compare to. How can you tell what’s considered a “normal variation” and what’s intersex?
They're most likely referring to 1 of 4 things:
1- Rugae in vulvas.
2- The fact that a lot of fused labia looks like a scrotum.
3- A bifid scrotum paired with a clitorophallus.
4- The wrinkled form of labia majora hypoplasia, which leaves the labia majora with a very scrotum-like appearance.

The left side is the peritypical vulva. The labia majora is unwrinkled or minorly wrinkled for the most part, and is filled with fat. There may be small bumps or grooves on it providing texture.
The right side is mild clitoromegaly + bifid scrotum. The scrotum is wrinkled and empty. Often it is a bit rougher in texture than the labia majora is, but that's not always the case.

Labia majora rugae are horizontal, organized, deep grooves that wrap around the labia majora. Rugae tend to be quite deep, almost like folds, rather than wrinkles. (Thank you to @gonyadaldysgenesis for the addition!)

Sorry for a weird question, but can you have both undescended fully developed gonads and descended almost miniature gonads when you have ovotestes? Or is it just labiascrotum that gives an appearance similar to tiny balls?
We know that to know for sure we need to find a doctor (probably a gyno) specialised in ovotestes, but this could be a challenge. Especially on universal healthcare.
I'm aware that gonads can attempt to descend into a labioscrotum, but I'm unsure if you could have both descended and undescended gonads. A unilateral situation going on where one gonad dropped and the other is in the abdomen sounds very plausible? We'd be looking into polygonadism otherwise, which while still possible is less common and thus there's less information about it. Could you be mistaking labioscrotal rugae for descending gonads? AKA those deep folds grooves and wrinkles that scrotal tissue usually has.
