It's gone unsaid, but as he's wondering who to blame, he's already giving me the vibes of internally rationalizing and eventually settling on 'there's no one to blame for this oversight but myself' (survivor's guilt is a bitch like that) for not being fast or strong enough to notice in time, to save and stop from losing the last of his family in Kuseno's case... We've already seen him having those intrusive, spiraling thoughts where he's repeatedly blamed himself for being too weak before. :') So. It's not hard to imagine how much he's internally beating himself up for losing Kuseno, too. (Except...he keeps himself distracted from fully processing it by immediately focusing on what he can DO, by taking action right now. He can only keep that up for so long, I feel.) But I'm surprised it seems you want him to suffer more from that misplaced guilt, from someone else emotionally twisting the knife even further. D: (However I'm sure ONE's got plans to force Genos to confront what he's bottled up and refuses to think about, all in due time.)

Assuming Genos won’t be in the next arc/couple of chapters I want to see him spending time with the Doctor, at least while he’s recovering, they both need it. Maybe they could give us some information too (wishful thinking).
