esp Mifune's and Crona's fates. Like, you're all amused the kid got protected by friends and slowly started learning to live normally. Then in manga they were never saved, went all insane and became the final boss like the Girl in F&H 😭

And Mifune never getting to fullfil his dream and share all his love with the others 😭😭

At the same time, at least regarding Crona's arc, that was a Chehow gun you actually expected to shoot thus fitting the story better but in a tandem with anime (and i'm usually spill sh!t when anime goes away from the original with its own plot) it makes both media much more sad? Manga is sadder than could have been, because, if you didn't watch anime, you would expect the story turn this way in the first place but now you've seen a happier alternative for the kid and it stabs you with a feel of lost possibilities. And the other way around, after manga watching sweet comforting extras in anime becomes a really bittersweet experience because you know they never got it in original. Feels like a point of bifurcation, heh
