The story continues directly where 235 leaves off -- Garou is cutting the monster to bits as Bang, the movers, and Suiryu stare on astonished.
Good question, team leader. You'll find out soon enough!
The dying monster rallies and shoots a last blast at Garou, who dodges. Unfortunately, his moving crew aren't so lucky, and there's a crater where the truck and people were. A shaken Garou lands next to the hole, yelling for Shinya and the Team Leader in vain. He's on the verge of collapse, when a 'phew' said somewhere above him catches his attention. Incredibly, Suiryu had picked up truck and crew, kit and kaboodle, and transported them to the roof of the nearest building. He brings them back down safely, and asks Garou to agree that it'd been a good thing that he'd been there.
But you need to survive first.
Shinya and the crew boss ask Suiryu if he's a hero, which Suiryu says that he is but more of a hero in progress (oh, and if you could let any ladies know about him, that'd be nice). As he takes a selfie with Shinya, Garou asks why he's here. To spar, Suiryiu says, adding that he wants to understand the Hero Hunter's strength. This is news to the other movers who had had no idea why Garou was on probation. And what if I refused, Garou asks, to which Suiryu replies that the guy owes him for saving his crew. At this, Garou starts to crack his fingers, telling Suiryu not to complain because he sucks at holding back.
Crick-crack go the long hero-stabbing fingers.
Watching the two combatants limber up, Bang thinks that this will be a great opportunity to assess Suiryu's strength. On the ground, a hyped-up Shinya refuses to move away, intent on not missing a blow. The chapter ends as the two meet.
And they're off!
Meta below the cut.

Little Things
I love seeing Shinya ask Suiryu for permission before taking a picture of his face. It's respectful and a good swipe at the current misbehaviour of so many who think they're entitled to film and photograph without permission.
Now why can't everyone do this?
Given that the monster has torn up the area, just who are they proposing to deliver boxes to? Wonder what happens when the homeowner can't take delivery of their possessions owing to losing their home? I'm sure that this is a known risk, does anyone know?
Learning to be a Hero is an Unforgiving Learning Curve
Never mind Suiryu fake modestly talking about still learning to be a hero (hey, then go back and check that your team is okay instead of indulging yourself), the speed with which the monster situation changed from one of easy triumph to tragedy was shocking and also par for the course in OPM. Things truly aren't over until they are: no matter how much in control of a situation you imagine you might be, some unexpected occurrence can turn everything upside down. Where a person's heroism comes into play is what your actions are then. Do you prioritise your well being or do you think first about who else might be affected and act to mitigate any effect the new developments might have on them?
They...they... were just there a moment ago...how did it come to this?
That's the thing Garou is having to learn pretty damn fast. Dodging out of the way of the monster's blast was totally second nature to him and something that's entirely understandable to do. The consequence of doing so without thinking... oof, if Suiryu hadn't been on hand, Garou would be broken with grief and self-recrimination. I'm very keen to see how this experience causes him to develop further. He might yet become a hero.
Messy in Heaven
Now, this is interesting -- Bang realises that Garou doesn't fully trust him and has been hiding his practice from him. But, but weren't they chatting happily just a few chapters ago? Yes, they were and what of it? Something a lot of readers are struggling with is the idea that when you see characters having a good time, being happy, or having breakthroughs that *doesn't mean that things are perfect for them.* It's just common sense, that's how we are: even when we're down and out, we will still find time and places to laugh, but I know that a lot of stories are written by people who don't get that and that people are reacting to those tropes.
Trust is earned and broken trust is even harder-earned.
Bang broke Garou's trust in a major way and yes, it's going to take a long time for that trust to be fully rebuilt. Come to that, things are going to be very awkward if Bang's sighted now. Stay hidden, old man!
Blown Cover
Pop quiz: What crime has Garou been convicted of committing? Dine-and-dashing. That's it. Don't believe me? Let's have a look at chapter 170. First, he was kept in custody at the Hero Association while they interrogated him. Then they decided not to press charges for whatever he did to the pro-heroes, so Bang went with him to the Police station to answer for his outstanding crimes. Which were dine-and-dashing. That's what he's doing rehabilitation work for. He's also had the sense not to blab about being the Hero Hunter from the looks of it.
Someone needs to tell Garou never to volunteer information. Especially not to the Police.
From the beginning, the Hero Association has wanted to keep this Hero Hunter thing under wraps. As Genos tells Charanko, they were concerned that it'd lead to unrest.
Something that will forever annoy me about Genos is that he's intelligent and good at ferreting out information but will do nothing with it unless it threatens to interfere with his discipleship. Or is about the Mad Cyborg. So narrow-minded!
Indeed, so under wraps have they kept it, that many of the various pro-heroes had no idea who Garou was until he was swinging a fist as their face. I can't resist posting the picture of Fubuki not recognising Garou as he walks past her, even though she'd just promised Saitama points for helping him nab him. As we say in the UK, she's such a blagger!
Back cover of volume 18. Fubuki selling hot air.
By not pressing charges against Garou, they've effectively kept the Hero Hunter incident under wraps and safe from public scrutiny and criticism. It also makes Garou's rehab a lot easier. Well, with Suiryu opening his big mouth, it's not so secret any more, and stories like this have a way of travelling. Shit could get complicated.
Gee, just announce it to the whole world, okay?
Traps for the Unwary
There's a lot that's going on here but YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO READ AND RETAIN INFORMATION to do that. Sorry for shouting, but I've heard enough puzzlement and nonsensical takes over this last chapter to last me a good while. Assuming you know what's going to come seems to actively cripple many people's capacity to follow the story written. That's not Murata's fault nor anyone else's but your own self. Please read what's in front of you.
Trap Number 1: Why is Suiryu not wearing body armour? He isn't because when he joined the Neo Heroes in the hopes of seducing Webigaza, he broke the body suit he was fitted with. As those cost five million Yen a piece, he's stuck in debt bondage to the Neo Heroes until he can pay it off. In the webcomic, he joined the Neo Heroes as a way to earn money easily and had no reason not to wear a body suit.
Suiryu in the webcomic joined the Neo Heroes for an easy life and quick money.
Suiryu in the manga is in debt bondage because he broke a suit.
Trap Number 2: But how is Mumen going to save Suiryu? Normally, I am dead against webcomic spoilers in manga work, but I am going to make an exception this time because of how egregious it is, and how loudly and widely webcomic-crippled readers have spread this. Okay, so you know the Superfight? Forget about it -- it never happened in the webcomic. Suiryu was never threatened by monsters, and no heroes needed to step forward to save him, so his attitude throughout the webcomic story was unmodified. Hero stuff was just an easy way to make money. At this point in the webcomic story, Suiryu doesn't even know who Saitama is. What changes is that the suit he is wearing starts controlling him and makes him attack Fubuki and Mumen Rider steps up to protect her and save Suiryu from the clutches of his suit, which he does at great cost to himself. Upon seeing that, Suiryu immediately repents and commits to being a true hero. That's why they're fretting about his needing to wear a suit, ignoring completely that he has already seen the light and is just struggling to walk towards it. Might he put a suit on later? Who knows, but see Trap Number 1: he has a very good reason in the manga not to.
Trap Number 3: Why are Suiryu and Garou fighting here? They're not: they're sparring. Why? Because Suiryu here knows that Garou is no criminal and disagrees with the order to bring him in. However, he's also a prideful martial artist keen to measure his skills against someone who gave the S-Class heroes a tough time, hence the clash.
It's pure self-indulgence on Suiryu's part, that's all. He just wants to be indulged here. He knows he's got no business hassling Garou.
Don't want to read the manga? Prefer to read the webcomic and assume you know what happens? Okay, but then don't whine that your inability to follow a simple and clearly laid out story is someone's fault. Learn to read with comprehension!

Does anyone have any interpretations of what Genos is saying in ch 160 after he apparently broke? I just don't think ONE would go through the trouble of writing all that if it was just gibberish.
Like here
The way he says "there is a possibility that a flower is blooming in the tear of my vision" and the next panel is Saitama in front of Kuseno while repeating "the possibility" it just feels like it meant something.
But it's frustrating bc you need to rely on the translation and how accurate it is.
I don't want to sound dramatic but the OPM webcomic chapter 160 maaaaaaaaan...I have so much to say but can't find the right words. Where is the OPM fandom anyway? It feels like you guys stopped caring while the story is peaking.
Well I've probably missed this conversation wherever it's happening, but it's whatever. Regardless, I am giving a crack at this because I believe there is something here worth discussing. Granted, everything I am about to say is based on the English translation, so my view is limited to only what I can understand. I am putting my faith in the translators that they have done a fantastic job of giving us a view of the contents of the "gibberish" that were delivered. With that said, let's get into what has caught my attention since it's release...
What did Genos say?
The metallic whispers are like an air purifier with an apple seed mane, his mind is not here
"He is trying to purge my mind and fill it with poison"
In other words... the deliverables buried in the black box are a paragraph wrapping the void of revenge, which is why the dead of night turned into a dot
"He manufactured a bottomless need for revenge in me, but it was pointless"
Along with intentional walking the final touch of the dragon, I am laughing away the arch of fantasy's foot with the 7th army
"In my single-minded pursuit of strength, I have been molded into the ideal soldier"
An arrogant piece-of-shit movie and the trajectory of a game of tag are already a specific counterfeit
"I was so focused on chasing your life that I didn't realize I was being fooled"
In this busy current world, a beautiful conundrum, as a souvenir, even if it's just a severed head
"I'm left with only a shred of my humanity to hold on to"
Disregarding electrical control, a continuous multiplication of trial and error... No, the sense of rushing speed I understand is the result of an explosive entering to the point of giving a piece of one's mind
"I couldn't get stronger from constant upgrades and mechanical power... so I tried to overcome through a burst of sheer willpower"
There is a possibility that a flower is blooming in the tear of my vision...
"And thus I had an epiphany..."
However, the core essence visible ahead of where the outsmarting of the atmosphere was detained is once again a beast trial
"I truly believed I could reach greater heights and win, and gave everything I had in one more fight"
The collection of the terrifying husk is the appearance of a threatening larva, hurrying the ultimate solution
"But now I have become the ultimate weapon meant to purge the world"
The private removal is an illusion approved by a decisive arrangement to kill Saitama, who is in the heavy rain reminisced in a license
"I have been ordered to kill you, Saitama, though you won't fight me due to obligation"
Even so, that's why you bastard... That level of nutrient is a beast-of-burden stew of slaughter, and saying it's a cave and the summit...
"I was a fool...I tried to apply what I learned from you, and I truly believed I could reach your heights how you described..."
I don't accept the reason for soaking what kind of fate into my own combination, which I helplessly arrived at through a competition resounded by unprecedented external pressure in recent years...
"It's not fair that this is what I have been reduced to, I didn't ask for this and with everything I have gone through..."
Just how many times do you have to recycle before you intend to retire from pious playing with fire?!
"How long do I need to suffer before you kill me?!"
I first approached this from the idea that it wasn't "Genos" talking anymore because of the line "his mind is not here", but the further you go into the spiel the more I could still see Genos in it. I then modified it so that it's still Genos talking to Saitama, but the visuals gave off a feeling that Genos is angry with Saitama, especially with calling him a bastard. After giving it more time, this also doesn't make sense since just before the modification is done, Genos had full confidence that Saitama would arrive and save the day. Surely he wouldn't flip that quickly? So, if he's not angry at Saitama, who is he angry at?
Himself. The Mad Cyborg. Life.
We don't know what's been poured into this poor boy's head, but whatever it is, it's clearly Very Bad(tm). The reason Kuseno/MC is doing all this in the first place? Probably. Plus, this is after finding out that the monster that created him, the very same one he's been "chasing", has just been using him this whole time. After finding out that same monster didn't bother remembering anything about Genos's old life (or so he says, at least). After he just applied everything he'd learned from his dear teacher, only to essentially come to a draw despite his best effort. In fact, you could argue he lost, since he was incapacitated before the real threat was defeated. He believed with his entire being that he'd win, and he still lost. I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty broken after that.
I will admit now that some of these lines are a stretch, but I think there is something there. I think Genos is trying desperately to communicate to Saitama in an attempt to get him to understand the depth of the situation they've both found themselves in.
The one time Genos cannot afford to summarize it to 20 words.
All of this because I remembered apple seeds have cyanide in them...

So how much is Saitama's word worth when ONE can lull us into false sense of security and then pull the rug from under us? Will Saitama have to eat his words?
