Enjoy a flavorful Cajun-inspired dish with this Keto-friendly blackened fish recipe. The combination of spices gives the fish a bold and zesty flavor without adding any unnecessary carbs.
Ingredients: 4 fish fillets such as snapper, tilapia, or catfish. 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. Salt and pepper to taste. Lemon wedges, for serving.
Instructions: Warm up a cast-iron pan over high heat until it's very hot. Salt, pepper, paprika, dried thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder should all be mixed together in a small bowl. Cover the fish fillets with a lot of the Cajun seasoning mix after rubbing olive oil on both sides of them. In a hot pan, cook the fish fillets for three to four minutes on each side, or until they are blackened and cooked all the way through. Serve right away with lemon wedges.
