Y'all are getting long term plans?

I don’t work for the health department, I work for an independent partner org, but CDPH and IDPH have both been very proactive in their planning and development RE: COVID. The whole reason we were able to erect (nice) the backup hospital at McCormick so quickly and then ‘put it in stasis’ so early is because the two health departments were incredibly fast and blunt in their response- and because we have a governor who actually seems to take their guidance very seriously (the mayor...less so) 

It sucks because Illinois is surrounded on all sides by states who do not give a fuck about this (The zip codes with the most outbreaks in Chicagoland right now? The ones bordering Indiana, of course), but Alison Arwady at CDPH and  Ngozi Ezike at IDPH have both been excellent in their response.

The trailer for the movie looked super freaky and I don't plan to see it even in a morbid curiosity type of way. But to be fair, the stage production looks like its own kind of trip!

10.  Do you own any signed books/memorabilia in general?

I own Difficult Women signed by Roxane Gay, and she also wrote “Next time-The Bachelor!” because when I went up after the Q&A I cracked that I wanted to ask her question, but since everyone else asked really thoughtful questions and all I wanted to do was ask about her livetweeting The Bachelor, I held off. She laughed and said “I really wish you had asked me about The Bachelor. I have so many thoughts about Rachel” (this was Nick Viall’s season). 

It’s at my parents’ house right now because I made the mistake of letting my mother borrow it.

So, I last read It a long time so maybe people with better memories can chime but, well, first my gut says, well, yes it has to be because Puberty is a big theme of the book. But, um, you may have heard reference to a pre-teen sewer orgy in the book....This really happens, just before the kids battle with the spider monster.  They are lost in the sewers and for some reason  because heterosexual sex is apparently how you transition to adulthood, Bev proposes a spider hunter strategy of sex and so the boys all politely take their turns having missionary position sex with Beverly in a sewer...and then they can fight the monster. 

There’s also a weird scene where clots of blood start coming up from her sink, but i can’t remember if that was supposed to reference a specific dead person or just be generally grossness, which would feel more like a menstrual reference.

Soy? It’s a complete protein, easy meat substitute, cheap if you have access to an Asian grocer, and may actually help gut inflammation: medicalnewstoday.com/ar…
