My own lil rant if you don't mind;
I've been a fan of StaticMoth wayyy before anything, even before the show dropped and so many people were sure Val would be the asshole, toxic, etc. I'm pretty sure a server even banned me for that lmao
Anywho, to see them in the actual show? Awesome, great, wonderful. Val is diva and i love him—yes I am aware he is not a good person, but he is a good character
Funnily enough I also really like Adam lol. Bonus points for him cause he served Adam some humble pie

I too loved Staticmoth before the show even aired. I loved and was invested in their instagram posts.

I LOVE Staticmoth in the show! And all the headcanons people come up with due to all the crumbs within the show that we get. I want (need) more of them!!
Val is my favorite character of the show. With Vox as a close second.
Val IS a diva! And I love him for that. He’s also funny, a tank in a fight, loyal to the other Vees, etc. He’s a well written and entertaining character & I greatly enjoy him.
I also know he isn’t a good person. But almost no one in the show/Hell is. (And yet, people hate on Val and his fans for Val being a bad person, like they don’t simp for a cannibal serial killer. 🙄 Fucking hypocrites)
In my almost 25 years in different fandoms, I have never cared whether my favorite character from media was a good person or not (& I’m not going to start now), if they entertained me and made me enjoy watching them, I’m going to like/love them and I’m not going to care if they committed fictional crimes against fictional people.
I get people not liking Val. Everyone has their opinion and personal taste.
But the hypocrisy of hating on Val and Val fans especially, when like I said most of them are simps for the deer is just ridiculous.
And no, I don’t need to aways be reminded of him being a bad person. I already know that. And honestly I do NOT give a shit. How many people are fans of other horrible characters in this show and other media? Do they have to ALWAYS justify liking or loving those characters? Do they have to ALWAYS preface that they don’t support the characters actions? Or risk being called horrible things? No they don’t & it’s ridiculous that Val fans have to.
I like Adam too! Him being voiced by Alex definitely played a part of me liking him.
And yes, I love how he humbled that deer so quick! (Seriously that was SUCH an arrogant & dumbass move on the deers part, did he really think he would have a chance against an Angelic general especially without an Angelic weapons. Ugh)
Adam isn’t/wasn’t my favorite but I liked him because at least he was entertaining. Adam made me laugh which is more than I can say for the dumb deer. lol
But in short (lol), Yes I love Staticmoth and Val. (I love all the Vees but Val & Vox especially)
And yes, I want/need more of Staticmoth. And I need them to end up in a more stable relationship with them having talked and had an open conversation and having confessed their love for one another. And I want all 3 Vees to stay together, happy, evil, rich and powerful in Hell. But I will compromise on them being in Heaven if it means that they stay together. (I don’t think they would be happy in Heaven, but I’ll deal with it if it means them all 3 together)
Yes, I absolutely hate and despise Alastor and radiostatic.
