hey friends, I know I’ve been hiatused from this blog for a while, but I’m back needing help. after a series of other incidents that depleted my savings, my cat Edgeworth (aka, Egg) has fallen sick and needs vet care which I am making sure to get for him. But I don’t really have the money for it, and if I’m not able to pay it off fast things are gonna get really bad.
He’s had an x-ray which shows a possible bowel obstruction. He’s been vomiting and had low appetite. He’s getting a follow up x-ray tomorrow and may need surgery.
If you want to check he’s a real cat, you can check the Edgeworth tag on this blog. I’ve posted about him several times before.
I’ve put together a gofundme to try to manage costs. Anything helps. I need my cat to live, but I’m also terrified of the debt if I’m not able to pay this off.
Mr. Edgeworth is a fluffy anxious little man who loves to sing a song when he’s… Jessica Valler needs your support for Support Mr. Edgeworth
If you can’t donate, a share is also helpful! Thank you so much.
The obstruction turned out to be a tumor. Whether the cancer was benign or malignant, the tumor was intertwined with Egg’s stomach and pancreas in a way that removing it would have severely diminished his quality of life, whereas leaving it would have left him obstructed and also caused him severe pain and suffering. He was humanely euthanized. At the end of it all, it cost $2500 and change. We did everything we could for him, and I’m glad to have that peace of mind. I definitely still need help making sure I can pay it off. Than you for your care and kindness.
