Reader here is replaced by Dokucha which stands for reader in Japanese to ensure the enjoyment of both reader and oc character readers!
Consider Leaving me a Coffee : )
They should have known better than to think a three-year-old would listen to them and go against her curiosity, especially when that three-year-old was Dokucha, a kid who had taken after them and their stubbornness, a child who was currently getting closer and closer to the ‘enemies’ turf; more specifically, to a certain zoan-user.
Dokucha popped her little head out from the tree she had taken cover in, sneaking a glance at the blonde sitting criss-cross on top of a rock.
Snapping her body back into her ‘hiding spot’ as the man suddenly opened his eyes, gaze directed towards her, as another voice piped up.
“Hey, you’re with the Roger’s, right? You should not be on this side. We are currently in a cease-fire.”
“C’mon, Teach, she’s just a kid,” Marco called with a chuckle as he jumped down from his place and casually approached the kid, easily plucking them from the ground, leaning them on his hip.
“She’s so cute too,” He gushed, smiling at her, an expression that she happily returned, realizing that she had somehow ashieved her objective, ‘getting to the bird.’
“He is right tho, watchu doing on our side of the woods?” Marco wondered, digging his fingers into her side, watching her let out a cackle at the ticklish feeling.
“I waned to meet the bir man,” she admitted, wrapping her arms around his neck to keep herself from sliding down as she glanced behind him after hearing a slight snicker from one of his crewmates.
“Phoenix,” Marco easily corrected.
“Phoenix,” she parroted, looking up as a shadow enveloped both of them, shrinking once she noticed the huge figure of another of the whitebeard pirates.
“Hmm?” Marco called, looking up, and gave a grin once he noticed Jozu peeking in to see the child.
“Oh, that’s Jozu, he’s a pretty big guy, but don’t worry, he’s actually a softy!” Marco laughed, turning Dokucha around so she could look up at the man. Although she tried to hide herself at first, she eventually stared at Jozu for a second before extending her hands towards him. Jozu seemed to be in a trance as he stared at her, then grabbed her without saying a word.
“Zu?” She questioned, trying to sound out his name. In response, the teen couldn’t help the slight blush that appeared on his cheek, a small, dopey grin soon joining it.
“Oh! What about me?! My name is Marco,” Marco piped up, the same small blush in his face as he kneeled next to Dokucha after his brother had placed her down.
“Mako!” She echoed, letting out a squeal as Marco suddenly spun her around ,the exact same Dopey look his brother wore now on his face.
“You’re so cute!” He giggled, pulling her close.
Seeing the shift in attention, Teach slowly approached the group, something Dokucha noticed as she happily exclaimed.
“It’s you!”
“Me?” Teach repeated, confused, raising an eyebrow at her statement
“Yeah! My brothers weh talking about you! They say that that you never sleep! Bugs says that it’s kind of scary, but Shans says means you have so much more.... She rambled on.
Marco let out a slight surprised sound as she suddenly leaned closer to Teach, making the blond stumble at the switch in weight.
“I ike your eyes!” She noted, glancing at said eyes. Just like many three-year-olds, the girl often struggles to stay on task, causing her to frequently create confusion and whiplash at her quick switches in topic; something that, despite being around a child themselves, he was on the shyer side and had long since grown out of most sporadic quirks.
“My..Eyes?” he Gaped out, confused
“Boutiful Eyes!” she nodded, turning around as she suddenly remembered something, not noticing as Teach’s face grew red and he became bashful, turning away from the group and returning to his post.
“Mako, can you sho me the phenix, pleasee?” She begged, perhaps he had just spent a little too much time around his brothers tough love, but hearing someone wanting to see their Zoan form with nothing more than admiration pulled a heartstring in him that he didn’t even know he had as he preened in pride.
“Ye-
“Dokucha!” A voice hollered, causing all their heads to turn, spotting a blue and red head standing not far away.
“Come here!” Buggy Cried
“They don’t look too happy,” Jozu remarked.
“Woops,” she mumbled.
“Can you show me phenix later?” Dokucha whispered with a guilty face.
“Yeah! I will take you flying too!” Marco promised, rubbing his cheek against her as they both laughed.
“Hey! Get your hands off her!”
Marco couldn’t help but snicker at this as he placed her on the ground and watched her begin to scamper off, only to stop and turn around.
“Bye Bye Makko! Bye Zu! By pretty eyes! She hollered, waving them goodbye before resuming running, leaving behind the pink-cheeked boys and joining her brothers on the Roger’s side of the standstill.
Dokucha couldn’t tell how long she had to stay and hear her brothers scolding her, reminding her that she has to stay on their side lest she ‘Gets stolen by the Whitebeards,’ but it surely felt like an eternity. But did she listen? Absolutely not! No way she was missing on all the pretty plants the place had to offer.
To her defense, she hadn’t ventured past the invisible line the two crews had established for the cease-fire and instead had luckily conformed with collecting all plant life that caught her eye from a cliffside not too far away from the Roger’s Main Camp.
Although she had not ventured far, which had been the apprentice’s prime concern, it seemed the sea itself was determined to punish her for once again sneaking away from her brothers, as without any warning, the floor began to shake, and soon the sea started rising and falling in an impossible manner.
Dokucha had no time to prepare her little body and thus ended up tumbling down from the high cliffs.
It would have been a fatal fall, had it not been for the talons that suddenly swooped in and stopped her descent.
Looking up with teary eyes, she couldn’t help but gasp, starry eyes growing on her face at the sight.
It seemed that Marco had made good on his promise sooner rather than later, as he glanced down at the girl on his talons, a goofy grin on his face as he laughed.
“Mako”
“Looks like Pops got you!” he chortled.
“Pretty bir,” She awed, ignoring his statement in place of admiring the way golden and blue flames now replaced his arms, dancing around in erratic movements, seemingly being one with the carefree teen carrying the fire.
Again, he had been around the tough love, not only teenage boys engage in, but pirate teenage boys, and grown pirates, pirates that usually were not one to hand out compliments regarding one’s look, and especially not using such straightforward and wholesome words the girl in his grip was throwing out. So once again, he could do nothing but beam in pride, laughing gleefully and without restraint at the comment.
“Pretty cool, right?!” He boasted flying the both of them peacefully around the island.
“Ya!” she agreed, screaming in delight and excitement as the boy took that as a cue to show off, throwing both of them in a dizzying amount of loop-arounds and different but no less thrilling tricks the Phoenix engaged in, fueled by the girls’ cheering and laughing.

hello i absolutely love your writing style! thw seeing your posts whenever i wake up or get out of school or before going to bed definitely makes my day. this is day 3 of asking for this and the topic maybe a little weird (ish) so if you're too uncomfortable to write it, thats totally fine!
Day 2 of begging you to do this yandere x yandere Innocent!Reader for Whitebeard, Thatch, Izou, and Jozu (separately reaction, the Whitebeard Pirates don't get enough love!) where the yandere is obsessed with the innocent Marine, so like any other Yandere pirate they capture the reader mid battle,
Innocent!Marine Reader isn't innocent because they are obsessed with yandere but she worried it would affect our job so she hit it,
But! Instead of resisting or trying to escape, when the yandere! Character visited Marine!Reader, expecting protesting and demanding to be let go. Innocent!Marine Reader fell on her knees holding onto their hands (you can decide for Whitebeard because of the obvious height & size difference) with a lovesick expression on her face 'I gladly tell you every information i know about the World Government, just please love me!'
It's up to you if you want to do it or not!
Of course I write starlight! I swear it's such a good idea, I didn't like how I write it, but I'm the end I'm posting this, i really hope you enjoy it, and I'm so so so sorry that I made you ask it 3 times, so please forgive me Starlight 🙏🏻😭
The heavy door to the captain's quarters groaned open, and Edward Newgate ducked to enter, his shadow swallowing the small, sparsely furnished room. His gaze fell upon the young Marine woman he'd had his men pluck from the battlefield. He expected defiance, tears, maybe even a foolish attempt at a last stand. Instead, he found you waiting, standing perfectly still in the center of the room. The moment your eyes met his, something shifted.
You didn't scream. You didn't plead for your life in the way he was used to. Instead, your legs buckled, and you sank to the floor with a soft thud. You scrambled forward on your knees, your uniform getting dirty, and stopped right at his boots. Before he could even process the bizarre sight, you reached out, your small hands desperately clutching the fabric of his pants.
"I-I know why you brought me here," you stammered, your voice trembling but not with fear. It was thick with an emotion he couldn't immediately place. Your eyes, wide and shining, were locked on his face. "You think I'm just another Marine. A pawn. But I'm not. I've watched you for so long, Captain Newgate. From a distance. I've read every report, seen every wanted poster... I know you're not the monster they make you out to be. You're a king. A protector of your own."
Whitebeard stared, utterly bewildered. This was a first. He remained silent, letting you pour out your heart.
"I joined the Marines because it seemed like the right path, but every day felt like a lie. All I could think about was you. Your strength, your vision... your family. I tried to push it away, to be a good soldier, but it was useless. I'm obsessed. I know it's wrong, but I don't care anymore. This is the only chance I'll ever get."
You looked up at him, your expression a breathtaking mix of desperation and adoration. "I'll tell you everything. Everything I know. I have access to patrol routes, supply manifests, secret meeting schedules, the names of officials who are too cowardly to stand up to you... I'll give you the World Government on a silver platter. Just... please..." You tightened your grip on his pants, your knuckles white. "Please, love me. Let me be yours. Let me stay with you. I'll be useful, I swear! I'll do anything you ask, just don't send me back. I can't go back to a world without you in it."
A long, heavy silence filled the room. Then, a deep, rumbling chuckle started in Whitebeard's chest, growing into a full, booming laugh that shook the very timbers of the ship. He slowly reached down, his massive hand engulfing your entire head as he gently stroked your hair.
"You are a fascinating little thing," he rumbled, his voice filled with genuine amusement and a strange, new warmth. "To throw away your entire world for a pirate you've only ever seen from afar. You have more guts than half the rookies on my ship." He looked down at your desperate, pleading face, and for the first time in a long time, he felt something other than the weight of his title. "Very well. You have my attention. Stand up."
You scrambled to your feet, and he placed a hand on your shoulder, his touch grounding you. "Your information will be... appreciated. But your devotion? That is a treasure I did not expect. You will stay with me. You will be under my personal protection. And you," he said, a rare, genuine smile gracing his lips, "will tell me more about this obsession of yours."
𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙
The door swung open with a cheerful bang, and Thatch sauntered in, a plate of dango in one hand and a cocky grin on his face. "Alright, little Marine, time for your interrogation! I hope you like—Whoa!"
He stopped dead in his tracks, the dango nearly tumbling to the floor. There you were, on your knees, your eyes locked onto him like he was the answer to every prayer you'd ever had. He blinked, setting the plate down on a nearby table as you scrambled forward.
"Commander Thatch!" you cried out, your hands reaching for him. You caught the edge of his uniform, your fingers clutching the silk like a lifeline. "I knew you'd come! I knew you'd be the one to see me!"
Thatch was completely floored. He'd planned a whole speech, a mix of charm and intimidation to get you to talk. This... this was not part of the plan. He knelt down, getting on your level, his expression a mixture of shock and pure, unadulterated delight.
"Well now, this is a welcome surprise!" he chirped, his voice full of playful energy. "I was all set to be the big, scary pirate, but you seem to have skipped right to the good part. What can I do for you?"
"I know things," you said, your voice urgent and breathless. "Things that would be valuable to you. The World Government is planning something big, a weapons deal on a neutral island. I have the coordinates, the date, the code phrase. It's all in my head. And there's more. I know about the secret passages in Marineford, the ones they don't put on any maps. I can draw them for you from memory. Please... just let me stay. I'll give you all of it. I'll be your eyes and ears, your secret weapon. I don't care about my old life anymore. I only care about you. I'll do anything, just please, let me be by your side. Let me love you."
Thatch's grin became positively feral. He laughed, a bright, infectious sound, and gently pried your fingers from his sash to take your hands in his. "Secret passages? Weapons deals? Honey, you just hit the jackpot! I knew there was a reason I liked you the second I saw you."
He leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "You know, for a Marine, you're a terrible traitor to your own side, and I absolutely love it. Forget being an informant, that's so boring. You're getting a promotion! You're now officially my 'Special Advisor on Awesome Things and Kicking Government Butt.' It's a very prestigious title, I just made it up."
He stood, pulling you to your feet with him and keeping a firm grip on your hand. "First order of business, we're getting you out of that drab uniform. It's a crime against fashion. Second, you're telling me everything over a celebratory feast I'm going to cook just for you. Welcome to the family, gorgeous. Try not to get seasick."

The door slid open with a soft, almost silent click, and Izou entered the room with his customary grace. He held a cup of tea. He expected a frightened Marine, perhaps one he could coax into talking with a few carefully chosen words. He did not expect you to immediately drop to your knees and bow your head to the floor.
"Lord Izou," you whispered, your voice muffled by the wooden floorboards.
Izou paused, one perfectly sculpted eyebrow raised in intrigue. He set the teacup down, his movements fluid and unhurried. "Lord? My, that is a title I haven't heard from a Marine's lips before. Do raise your head. It is unbecoming to hide a face as lovely as yours."
You lifted your head, your cheeks flushed and your eyes filled with a desperate, worshipful gleam. "I mean it! I've admired you from afar for so long. Your elegance, your skill with a rifle, the way you carry yourself... you're like a work of art come to life. I tried to be a good Marine, I truly did. But my heart was never in it. It's always been with you. With the Whitebeard Pirates."
He listened, his expression unreadable, though a flicker of interest sparked in his eyes. He watched as you shuffled forward on your knees, your hands clasped together as if in prayer.
"I know things," you said, your voice urgent. "Things that would be valuable to you. Marineford is planning to get information to stop your crew and your captain, I can tell you everything, I can give you all the information I know, and all the secrets about the world government, just please, let me be by your lady. Let me love you."
Izou's lips curved into a slow, beautiful smile. He gracefully lowered himself to one knee, bringing himself to your level. He took your clasped hands in his, his touch cool and gentle. He brought your knuckles to his lips, pressing a soft, lingering kiss that made you gasp.
"My dear, what an utterly captivating proposition," he purred, his voice like velvet. "To offer me not just secrets, but your very soul. It is a gift far more precious than any weapon or map." He released your hands, only to gently cup your face, his thumb stroking your cheek. "Your devotion is the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. It is a flower blooming in the most unlikely of places."
He leaned in, his forehead almost touching yours, his eyes holding a mesmerizing, sweet gleam. "Of course, I accept. How could I possibly refuse such an earnest heart? You will stay by my side. You will be my most treasured secret, my beautiful little songbird. And as for your information... we will discuss it over tea. Every night. You will tell me everything, and I, in turn, will show you a world you've only ever dreamed of. You are mine now, little Marine. And I take very, very good care of what is mine."

The door to the cabin opened with a heavy thud, and Jozu stepped inside, his diamond-armored form catching the light. He was a man of few words, expecting to find a frightened Marine he could stare into submission. Instead, he found you on your knees before he’d even closed the door, your eyes wide and fixed on him.
He stopped, his usually stoic expression faltering for a fraction of a second. You shuffled forward, the sound of your knees scraping against the wood floor the only noise in the room.
"Commander Jozu," you breathed, your voice filled with a reverence he’d only ever seen directed at Whitebeard himself. "I knew it would be you. I knew you'd be the one to come for me."
Jozu remained silent, his gaze intense and unreadable as he watched you. He was completely unprepared for this.
"I've seen you on the battlefield," you continued, your words tumbling out in a rush. "You're like a force of nature. Unstoppable. I tried to focus on my duties, on being a good soldier, but every time there was a report about the Whitebeard Pirates, my eyes would search for your name. I have drawings of you in my bunk, sketches of you in mid-fight... I know it's foolish. I know it's a betrayal of everything I was supposed to be, but I don't care anymore."
You looked up at him, your expression a desperate, open plea. "I can be useful to you. I know things. The Marines are planning a surprise inspection of a nearby allied island in two weeks. It's a front for a weapons cache. I have the coordinates and the security codes memorized. I'll tell you everything. I'll give you every secret I know. Just... please... let me stay with you. I don't want to go back. I want to be with you. I'll do anything, just please, love me."
The silence that followed was heavy and thick. Jozu stared down at you, his mind working to process the sudden, overwhelming confession. Then, a slow, rare smile touched his lips, a sight so unexpected it was breathtaking. He crouched down, his large frame still imposing but much closer to your level.
"You're serious," he said, his voice a low, gravelly rumble. "You'd really give up everything... for me?" He seemed genuinely moved, his usual stoicism melting away to reveal a flicker of vulnerability. "I'm not a man of many words."
He reached out, his calloused hand gently tilting your chin up to meet his gaze. "But I'm not letting you go. Not now, not ever."
He stood, pulling you up with him, his grip firm but not painful. "You'll stay with me. On my ship. You'll be safe there. And as for your offer... we'll talk. But first, you need to understand what you're getting into. Being with me means being with the Whitebeard Pirates. Are you ready for that?"
He saw the immediate, unwavering nod and decided to test your resolve, a rare, teasing glint in his eyes. "Can you handle Pops laughing at everything? Marco and Ace fighting over the stupidest things? The drama from Thatch if you say his food is 'good' instead of 'life-changing'? And you have to compliment Vista's mustache. Every day. It's a rule."
He watched your reaction, expecting at least a flicker of hesitation. Instead, a brilliant smile broke out on your face.
"Yes," you said without a moment's doubt. "All of it. It sounds wonderful. It sounds like a family."
Jozu's smile widened into a full, rare grin. He let out a short, quiet chuckle. "Good. Because you're stuck with all of it. And with me." He didn't let go of your hand, his grip a silent, unbreakable promise. "Welcome to the Moby Dick."
Marco likes to roost in the crow’s nest and fly in circles around the ship for his daily exercise. He or Ace are happy to make a flame at night for others to do shadow puppet shows with.
Marco gets a little flustered when someone compares him to a pineapple, but he does like the joke. It used to bug him when he was a younger man though. It was a sure fire way to get him on your bad side when he was in an unpleasant mood.
Ace could fill a library with the stories he could tell you about his brothers. Especially when he’s drunk, that’s when the proud big bro side emerges in force. Expect him to possibly cry about either one, and how much he misses them.
They say if you want an easy tan, follow Ace around for a day and his natural heat will do the trick. He’s also a center of attention when the crew comes to a winter island, like a human space heater
Izo is very protective of his sister; he desperately wants to see her as he hasn’t seen her in 20+ years. He wants to be able to have a drink with her, and see what she’s been up to.
Sometimes he’ll reminisce about Oden’s time, he’ll be the one to tell you what a mess the Original second division commander was. All the things that oden had done to get himself in trouble with the locals.
Jozu may not always like it, but his reflective Diamond form has been used as a morning mirror to fix bedhead or check for cuts and bruises a few times. He doesn’t mind helping his crew mates out, but they could at least ask more often.
Thatch is great at telling who’s in a bad mood and what kind of cheering up they need. A good meal or a helpful talk? He’ll be there for you.
Once you reached your hand in you, felt around and pulled out a diamond necklace. You looked at the necklace admiring its beauty, and didn't notice the 3rd division commander walking towards you. You were admiring it because it looked handmade but at the same time too classy to be handmade. You felt the necklace get taken away from your hands. You noticed Jozu smirking at you before hooking the necklace around your neck. You blushed and smiled.
"You can have it; it suits you well." He said.
"Thank you. It's beautiful." You said, and you felt Nami push you both into the closet and lock the door. You shifted as you looked at Jozu, standing close to you but giving you enough room to move.
"Do you want to play Jozu?" You asked, and he grinned.
"I was hoping you would want to play. Let's not waste time since we only get 7 minutes." He said, and he picked you up so you could reach his lips, and he pressed his chapped ones against your own. You inhaled his scent blushing as you moved your lips with his as he held you close. You hugged his neck. He sat back on the couch in the closet and sat you on his lap. His hands went straight to your waist and slipped underneath your shirt. He wanted to feel how soft your skin was. Your lips were too addicting, and he didn't want to break this kiss. He kept tracing his fingertips along your sides.
You straddled him in a more comfortable position before breaking the kiss to breathe, and he placed his huge hands, resting them still on your waist. He grinned as you leaned down and kissed his neck, nipping at the skin. He blushed, but you were too caught up in the moment, and you didn't want it to end. He pulled you away from his neck and kissed you again. One of his hands was placed behind your head so you wouldn't break from the kiss. You tapped his shoulder, but he ignored it even though he knew that tap was to say the 7 minutes was almost up. He pushed his tongue into your mouth just as the door opened. He picked you up again, not breaking the kiss. You managed to part from the kiss, flushing.
"You put me down."
"Not a chance I didn't get satisfied. I want the kiss longer." He grinned and kissed you again. The Whitebeard pirates let out whistles, and you flushed but kissed back. Once he finally parted the kiss, he sat you in the lap.
"Be my girlfriend (Y/N)."
"I would love to."
"Great, because I love you."
"I love you too, Jozu."
"Does that mean you are joining the Whitebeard Pirates?" Ace asked. Luffy stopped eating meat.
"NO, SHE IS MY NAKAMA!" You laughed, shaking your head.
"Luffy wouldn't ever allow that. Plus, I am loyal to the Straw Hat Pirates." Ace puffed his cheeks, and so did Jozu.
*pulls back with a truck filled with love and affection* shit, sorry! My phone glitched and I can't see the names fully! Well, hmm let's change it to any of the Whitebeard Pirates you are familiar with? Jozu or even Whitebeard himself, go wild! *loads all the love and affection and cookies on you*
*swims around in a ball pit of love and affection while munching on a cookie* I'm ok with writing for most of the Whitebeard crew, but you suggested Jozu first, so Jozu it is! Enjoy!
1. His intentions – Eight of pentacles in reverse
No focus – sensitivity – vanity
Something about you draws Jozu closer to you. He’s not quite sure what it is that draws him in, or what he’s hoping to achieve by getting closer to you, but he can’t help himself. This man is head over heels and he can barely focus on anything at all, his mind wandering to you constantly.
2. What attracts him to you – The hermit
Being true to yourself – introspection – solitude
You are unapologetically yourself. You know who you are, you know what you value, and nothing and no one will stop you from following just that. There is no pretending with you under any circumstances. You might prefer to stay away from big crowds as well, or at least limit your time in them, which makes Jozu see you easier. You’re both literally and in a manner of speech, not just a face in the crowd to him.
3. The date – The tower
Outside of the box – sudden change – destruction
Take every single traditional, sappy or cheesy date idea you know. You’ve got them? Throw them overboard. Jozu is not sticking to any of those things. He wants to think out of the box and surprise you. It’s sudden, overwhelming and by the end of the date you probably still don’t know if you liked the date or not. You may even never know.
4. Higher reason/karmic link – King of pentacles in reverse
Losing connection with emotions – threat – coldness
The loss of Whitebeard and Marco hit Jozu hard. He was lost without the familiarity and stability of the Whitebeard pirates, and he needed someone to help pick up the pieces after the funeral. That’s when he met you. You may not have been perfect, but you were all he needed.
5. Hopes and fears – The emperor in reverse
Lack of strength – failure to control – coldness
Jozu had 2 big fears: losing you like he lost Whitebeard and Ace because he’s too weak, or losing himself again to the grief and going back to the coldness that he was radiating when you found him. He wants to go back to the warmth and the happiness he once felt before his world fell apart, and he wants to show you that all the effort you’ve put into him wasn’t for nothing.
6. Advice – Six of wands in reverse
Self-doubt – fear – infinite delay
You are still doubting yourself. Maybe if you’re good enough for this man, maybe if you can help him pick up the pieces, maybe if you can handle him. However, you need not worry about it. The six of wands shows success and victory, and in love it specifically shows good luck and progress. All you need to do is turn this card – and this situation – around.

Hello! Ok so can I request a whitebeard pirates x child reader?
Basically reader has this big fat crush on shanks and everytime that shanks visit the Moby dick reader would give shanks flowers, cards, and candies
Shanks also has this huge ego boost often making comments how he's reader favorite which anger the whitebeard pirates
Ace was so ready to strangle shanks but reader gets between them and there like "Stop fighting! if you keep this up I'll go with Mr shanks and his crew!"
Ace is heartbroken, thatch is sobbing on the floor, while everyone else is stunned LOL
-👻 anon
Puppy Love (Shanks x gn!child!reader x Whitebeard pirates)
Part two
A/N YALL GET YOUR GRILLS READY CAUSE I COOKED HERE, I loved making this im not really into crack fics so I wanted to keep it as real as possible but while still adding that spec of dramatics of it and I think I found the perfect balance
Reader here is replaced by Dokucha which stands for Reader in japanese
Dividers by @/saradika
At first, the Whitebeard pirates thought it was normal. Dokucha was quite the amicable child, after all, and it was not unheard of for them to give small gifts to guests who came on the ship.
The first time Dokucha had seen the red-haired Captain was when the yonko was visiting the Moby Dick on business. Upon spotting the man Dokucha was quick to sneak into the clinic and steal some candy to hand to him.
“Here, Mister Shanks,” they said shyly, handing the candy to said man
Shanks took the candy from the child and thanked them for it
“For me?”
They nodded, a faint red hue blooming on their face as they fidgeted, their upper body spinning back and forth to keep their nerves down
He chuckles softly, giving the kid a small smile and ruffling their head
"Thank you very much, kid," he said as he turned to leave
They squealed happily once he had stepped off the boat, the red hue now taking over their face entirely as they replayed the event on their heads
The Whitebeard Pirates looked on in confusion at the small kid who had grown so fond of the red-head captain
“Ne, is he coming over again?” Dokucha questioned, lying their head on the railing watching as the Red forced slowly sailed away
“Pops needs to discuss some more loose ends with him, so he will be back soon,” Jozu answers absentmindedly
“How soon?”
He looks at the little one before shrugging
“A couple days, maybe a week.”
“Why are you so curious, Dokucha?” Izou asks with a raised brow at the child’s sudden interest
“Nothing!” They said, grinning ear to ear as they went into the ship a skip to their step on their way
The pirates brushed it off as the kid simply being excited at the fact that someone out of their family was coming to visit; they were very wrong.
On the next visit, Dokucha had begged Vista to make some flowers for them and had even sneaked into the kitchen to steal some of the edible flowers to make a small bouquet.
“Here Mister Shanks”
“For me?” Shanks asked with a slight grin on his face as he took the small bouquet and gave the little one a thankful look
“Dokucha, did you make this?”
“Yeah, I made it for you,” they mutter shyly with a shrug
Shanks bends down to the child’s height
“Thank you very much; it looks like you worked hard to make it so pretty.” he takes one of the flowers and tucks it behind their ear
“Here, now you look pretty as well.”
Their face explodes with red at the gesture, a lovesick look on their face as they watch him go
The crewmates raise their eyebrows at this behavior; Ace is the first to speak up
“Hey, that idiot is trying to steal Dokucha!” mutters Ace as he elbows Marco
“That’s just how Dokucha is; you know how friendly they are,” he says with a grunt at the hit
“No, No, Ace is onto something here; he’s definitely up to something,” agrees Thatch
Marco rolls his eyes as he leaves the two to talk their conspiracy out
Turns out he should have heeded their words as he now felt the same feeling crawling up his skin as he watched his youngest sibling yet again approaching the man with another small gift, a small golden coin they had found on their last island
By now, Shanks had started expecting it, so when the kid approached them, a smirk appeared on his face
“What do you have for me today?” he said, scooping the small child up
“I found a pretty coin for Mister Shanks!”
He backs up slightly to look at the coin the child had raised
“You’re spoiling me here, kid. What has my favorite Whitebeard up to?”
They shrug
“I played with my brothers again.”
He chuckles softly
“You’re adorable; I might have to steal you; we need some of that energy in the red Force,”
Dokucha’s response was stopped as they both turned at a hot feeling enveloping them
“Red-haired Shanks,” Ace growls, a tight grin on his face as his fire flickered around him
“Don’t get me wrong, I'm still eternally grateful for you saving and taking care of my brother, but I won’t sit still and watch you steal Dokucha.”
“Would you be so kind as to put my dear sibling down?” Thatch says, a similar tight smile on his face as he swings around his kitchen knives
Marco stared at the confrontation unfolding before him, his eyes drilling into the opposing captain, waiting for the perfect moment to swoop in
“Stop! If you hurt Mister Shanks, I will be mad at you forever! And I will go on adventures with Mister Shanks!”
Thatch gasps at their words
“Dokucha…you are breaking my heart!” He said, grasping at his chest at the sight
“Ah, Thatch-nii!” They said, jumping off Shanks's hand and running to their brother
“Is you’re heart okay?! I’m sorry! I'm not mad at Thatch-Nii!” They cry
Thatch rushes forward to the kid, embracing them in a hug
“Don’t you go running off with anyone else, okay? I won’t allow it.”
“Is your heart okay, Thatch-nii?”
He chuckles
“Don’t worry, I‘m fine. I would just miss you too much if you were to leave.”
“That being said, you are not going with Shanks.”
Shanks chuckles at this, a sly smirk growing on his face
“I don’t know. I might just steal the little one.”
“You-
“Stop” A commanding voice booms
“Ace, stand down,” Whitebeard mutters
Ace’s flame flares more as his jaw tightens
“Fine…”
Whitebeard turns his sight to the Red-Haired captain
“Boy, stop taunting my commanders.”
Shanks raises his hand in a forfeiting motion
“Couldn’t help myself,” he chuckles
“Well then, are you done messing around?” Thatch asked after a moment of silence, scooping up the child and putting them on his hip
“I think it is time for me to take my leave,” sighs Shanks, a small smile growing as he says this
“Hey, kid, say hi to Luffy for me, will ya?” He said, glancing at Ace
Ace rolls his eyes at this but grumbles out an agreement his way, a similar smile on his face
Shanks nods at this and takes his leave, jumping back to the Red Force and preparing to set sail
Dokucha whines at this, struggling against Thatch’s hold to try to follow after the redhead
Thatch looks down at the child struggling against his grasp
“Don’t.” He said bluntly
Marco glances at the small struggle before sighing and crossing over, pulling the kid from Thatch to sit on the other side of his hip, nodding at the chef in assurance
Dokucha tries to take advantage of the handover to wiggle their way out of their grasp but is unable to escape their brothers’ firm hold
“There isn’t escaping, you little troublemaker; no use trying,”
“But I want to see Mister Shanks off!”
“I know, bud, but you can’t run off with every stranger you see,” he said, ruffling their hair
They pout
“But it’s a handsome stranger!”
“And what if they're bad people? They could steal you away, you know?”
“Mister Shanks can steal me any day,” they sighed with a dopey smile
He lets out a small chuckle
“Your something else, kid,” he says, giving their head a light pat
“No, Marco-nii, Shanks is something else! So handsome and strong!”
He scoffs at that
“What are we, invisible?” he grumbles, walking into the ship
Ace and Thatch watched them walk away, the latter looking up at his Captain
“Hey, old ma-
“You’re not going after him.”
Guys let’s be honest Dokucha is just voicing much of you are thinking, I think they are intrusive thoughts voiced out, honestly I keep re-reading and I keep laughing cause I just think of you guys doing that
Hello I hope you've been sleeping and eating well, may I request this? Whitebeard Pirates x Inosuke reader like he was the smallest and youngest among them, he gets into a lot of trouble
Inosuke was raised by boars his life and he has little to no human contact
Inosuke is influenced more and more by the Whitebeard pirates ways ways and becomes more accustomed to affection and generosity, learning to also acknowledge the strength of people besides himself and develop feelings of friendship towards the Whitebeard pirates , although he does still retain his proud nature and constant want for praise. He also begins to think more strategically when engaging in combat, using smarter tactics he has picked up from more experienced Demon Slayers and not just rushing into fights head-on without thinking, he goes mad when anyone tries to hurt his family, though despite being a troublemaker he can be shy and quiet whenever it comes to new things like Inosuke would hold Marco sleeve and watch in awe as a parade was happening
So how would the Whitebeard pirates react seeing their youngest and smallest crewmate being quiet for the first time like someone made a comment like "I wonder why would they allow a troublemaker boar into their crew?" And Inosuke started wondering that too and started being quiet as the Whitebeard pirates were behind him glaring at the bastard who made their youngest upset
Doubtful affections ( Whitebeard pirates x m!reader)

“Why does it have to be boars anyway? We haven’t had sparrows in a while, and they are here by the plenty,” Ace whined as he followed after his brother.
“Cos’ the sparrows are here to control the caterpillar population, the villagers recently managed to get it under control and save their crops; boars are killin’ off their livestock,” Thatch huffed out, venturing further into the forest and away from the grasslands the village had made a home in
“We can get some good meat, and they will trade us materials if we help hunt them down; it’s a win-win for both sides.”
Ace let out a hum in response, looking further into the forest and placing an arm out to halt Thatch, gesturing for him to be quiet and lower himself on the ground.
Thatch is quick to understand the reasoning behind his actions as not far from there was a large sounder grazing on the wild vegetation. Letting out a smile as he unsheathed his knife and edged closer to them
“We goin’ to eat good tonight,” he grinned, stalking closer to the boars, knife raised and ready to strike; the opportunity ended as elated for the hunt he had failed to notice the foliage beneath his feet, cringing at the loud crinkling sound that quickly alerted the sounder.
“Ha...Howdy”
“Good going, Thatch,” Ace sarcastically called after they had managed to fend off the angry mothers that had charged at them the minute they realized someone had gotten too close to them and their piglets.
“Quit yer Hollerin; it ain’t matter how it got done. What matters is we got the meat,” he called, rolling his eyes and taking a glance at a nearby bush for a moment, his attention going back to the gathering of their hunt.
“Make yer’self useful and take care of the last one, think might be anotha piglet.”
“Aye, Aye, Captain,”” he called dismissively, igniting one of his hands as he approached the bush.
“Come here, piggy, piggy, come....here? Thatch you might want to take a look at this:”
“What is it? Oh.” The two men gawked at the sight in front of them; perhaps if they were not as worried at the fact that in front of them sat a toddler alone in the middle of the woods, they would have found it amusing at the mannerisms it showed as it let out what they guessed were small growls and charges towards them, a mask just as small as he was decorating his head.
Ace grinned gingerly. He picked up the aggressive child and boosted him up in the air for a few seconds. A laugh escaped him as the boy started giggling, his small hands trying to reach the man.
“Ya ain’t a boar, ain’tcha? What are ya doin’ all alone here?”” Thatch questioned, looking up at the giggling boy
“You don’t think he was being raised by one of the boars, do you?” Ace mulled lowering the toddler onto his hip, occasionally bouncing him
“Don’ see any other way he coulda survive alone out here” he mumbled, slipping off the boy’s mask to take a peak at his features.
“Well, it doesn’t matter cause he’s coming with us”” Ace laughed, but it was cut short as the child sank his teeth into his torso, gaining a hiss from the man.
“He’s gonna give Marco a run for his money.”” Thatch grinned, finding humor in his brother’s glowering
Thatch was definitely not wrong when he spoke those words as Marco stood in front of the child watching at his latest achievement; he had made a mistake in giving his back to a child who had been raised in the wild, and what did this cost him? A clinical bed, as the current one was now trashed, with small claw and bite marks littering it, springs and stuffing exposed to the frigid air of the room
Marco let out a sigh at the sight
“Alright, let’s set things straight; you do not destroy things,” Marco called, stopping the child from digging his teeth into the bed once again. He placed him on his lap, facing him, and held him as he struggled to get away from him and attack him.
“We can do this all day,”” he stated, looking down at the boy, who eventually stopped trying to headbutt his way out and began pointing to the bed.
“Don’t destroy my clinic,” he called sternly. He complied with his silent request and placed the child on the bed, watching him for a while to see if he would repeat his actions. He nodded when he didn’t and simply sat there staring at him. He then began assessing the child, taking all measurements, and, much to his displeasure, vaccinating him.
“There we go, you did great. Now I think it’s time you meet the rest of your brothers. Pops is waiting too.” he called, lowering the boy to the ground, his eyes softening as he gingerly took hold of his sleeve as they left the clinic, slowly walking closer to the deck, the rowdiness of the crowd getting louder and louder the closer they got
“You have improved greatly, Dokucha,” Vista applauded as he approached the small boy after he had successfully beaten his opponents under his brother’s watch.
A now older Dokucha spun around to meet his brother grinning at him
“You think so, Vista-nii?!” He called excitedly as he pulled up his mask and sheathed his wakizashi. Even though six years had already gone by since the day he had been found in that forest among boars, the young boy had kept his signature mask, having to replace it every year to fit his growing body.
“Your agility with the wakizashi has increased. Your movements are much smoother than last time, and your stance has improved as well. You no longer stumble on your feet when you must spin to meet opponents behind you,” he complimented, mirroring the child’s wide smile.
“Of course, I did a good job! I am the best after all!” he boasted as he put his hands on his hips in a proud manner.
“Remember to not underestimate your opponent regardless of their skill, or it will be your downfall on the battlefield,” He said as he placed a hand on the child’s head.
“I won’t, Vista-nii, don’t worry!”
“Now then, I must finish some training with my unit before we depart. Are you able to stock up on some of our supplies? We need new whetstones and truingstones"
“Leave it to me, Vista-nii!”
“Atta boy! I will see you shortly!” He called as he walked away
“Alright! I Saw a blacksmith right around the corner!” Dokucha noted as he made his way into the local village
“Here it is,” he remarked as he made his way inside the store, easily finding the items he was searching for and making his payment. Waving off the store owner as he made his exit, stopping as he heard the shop owner begin to talk, he turned around to see what the owner needed, only to once again be stopped as another voice spoke up.
“Who was that dear?”
“It was one of the Whitebeard pirates; he came to refill some of their smithing supplies.
He knew he was quick to jump into action; he had greatly improved this in the last years as he was less prone to suddenly lash out and act out on impulse. Under his brother’s tutelage, he now analyzed the situation and thought of a solution before his body moved. Much to Marco’s surprise and pleasure, the small boy had shown a great ability to strategize, coming up with strategies and views that never failed to impress him, much to his pleasure.
“Oh, was it one of the commanders? I heard Vista was around.”
“No, it was the boy,”
“That small child that tags along with them? I heard he was up to no good.”
Nevertheless, since he was still a child, it was only normal that many mannerisms he gained during his first two years of life still prevailed, which his brothers and father welcomed as they had grown to be a part of him. This, however, was not the case with people outside his circle; he was not deaf to the people’s words, the whispers of judgment following everywhere he went. He usually never let this get to him as he knew better than to care for stranger's words, but today was not one of those times.
“I wonder why they even keep such a boy.”
“I know, right? If anything, he would be a liability. That crew comprises such strong people, and then there’s him.”
“Maybe they felt bad for the boy, heard he was raised by boars. Can you believe that?” he said with a small laugh.
“Boars?! HA! I'm sure they keep him for entertainment. Their days at sea are very long after all.”
“Oh! That must be it I'm sure they...
Dokucha turned around, not waiting to hear the rest of the conversation, as he made his way back to the ship
“Have any of you seen Dokucha?” Namur questioned as he entered the mess hall, looking around for said boy
“He asked me for swimming lessons, and then the little rascal didn’t show up,” he grumbled, making his way to the table where the rest of the commanders sat at
“I asked him to get some materials from me, but I haven’t seen him since then,” Vista piped up
“I saw him go to his room earlier. Has he not left since then? It’s been hours since then,” Jozu noted, sharing a few worried glances with his brothers
“I will go check in on him,” Izou stated as he made his out of the mess hall
“Dokucha, are you there?” Izou called as he knocked on the door to his room, frowning as he received no response
‘He’s a light sleeper, so there’s no way he didn’t hear my knocking,’ he thought as he took a bobby pin out of his hair and easily unlocked the door, his frown deepening as his eyes fell on the lump on the bed.
“Dokucha?” He called sitting down on the bed
“The door was closed for a reason, Izou-nii,” the child grumbled, his voice muffled by the bed sheets. Despite this, the roughness and scratchiness of the voice was not lost to Izou as he swiftly removed the covers from the boy and pulled him closer to him.
“I have told you that it is unbecoming to not look as someone when you speak,” he called, tightening his hold as Dokucha tried pushing him away.
“Just leave Izou-nii,” he growled.
“I will not leave until you tell me what has had you acting this way.”
“Why do you even care? I’m just a form of entertainment for you guys, so you don’t have to pretend anymore, so...just leave me alone!” he cried.
Shocked by his words, Izou is quick to release him, watching as he broke down in front of him.
“Who told you this?”
“So it’s true!” he wailed, his cries growing louder as he turned away until a delicate hand made his place under his chin and softly turned it back.
“Dokucha. I do not know where you have heard of this, but know that it could not be farther from the truth,” he softly spoke as he lifted his face.
“We care for you deeply; we were all so happy the day Ace and Thatch brought you aboard. Trust me, living in a ship surrounded by such barbarians can become tiring after a while.” He started gaining a small giggle from the child at his words
“But then there was you; you were the most delicate yet wildest thing I had seen,” he voiced with a small smile.
“It was quite a sight, having a toddler run around amock and causing experienced warriors to lose their minds over such a small thing,” he recalled with a smile.
“It’s concerning how quickly you became the most precious treasure that any of us have found. And that is why I would like to know how you ever thought you were simply a means for entertainment,” he finished, looking down at Dokucha.
The child, comforted by the words, threw himself into Izou's arms, sobs racking his small body.
“Was it because of something we said or did? Despite not being as uncivilized as some of them, I understand some of us can be a lot,” he spoke as he hugged the boy closer to him, rubbing his back to soothe his cries.
“No, it wasn’t you guys.”
“Then?”
Encouraged by his words, Dokusha told him of what he had heard in the shop earlier. After a while, his brother smiled at him and encouraged him to relax for a while as he and the others 'handled it.’
“Say Fossa-nii, why did everyone leave?” Dokucha wondered as he looked up at the stars that filled the sky
“They had something that needed ta be handled,” he huffed out as he lay beside the boy.
“What is it?”
“What with the damn questions?! Just shut up n’ go to sleep,” the man growled, only getting a small snicker in response.
“I love you, Fossa-nii!” he exclaimed, throwing himself towards said man, hugging him tightly.
“Tch, yer lucky m' in a good mood,” he grunted out.
"Hey, hey, did you sneak any out today?" the child whispered, looking up at him
"Ya better not tell that idiot about this," he grumbled as he pulled out a small pastry from his pocket, handing it to the boy.
"I won't! Cause then I won't get any treats after hours!" he exclaimed, munching on the pastry and ignoring the snickers escaping his brother.
Ahhhh im tired yall but I finally finished it. What are we thinking?
Heya, I have an idea that has lived rent free in my head since I started watching one piece. I've always been a huge demon slayer fan, and my favorite character is mitsuri I love her style and personality, and her whip like sword is awesome. With the first two episodes of the new hashira training ark now out, could I request a mitsuri like reader? I'm unsure about the characters/crew so I'll leave it up to you. I'll be happy either way
And seriously remember to take breaks it's important and stuff- also just a question what got you into one piece and who is a character you love? If you've watched demon slayer, what if your favorite character from there too?
Sweet Warrior (Whitebeard pirates x Mitsuri!Reader)

"Are you ready, Jozu?" Dokucha called from across the field
"I am ready!" he boomed as he activated his devil fruit ability; he dug his hands into the ground and began lifting the earth below him.
"Aha! So we're starting up big, Brother Jozu!?!" She exclaimed in glee as she propelled herself forward, whipping out her urumi. She cartwheeled her way up the raised bed, skillfully avoiding the flow of her sword as it spun around her. Its sharp edges made quick work of the ground below her, splitting it into smaller pieces that fell victim to gravity.
She grinned, doing a swift salto to make her way to even ground and away from the crumbling earth that she had left behind.
Not one to be outdone, Jozu was quick to step up his game, and he once again dug his hands into the ground and began pulling out huge parts of the soil and rocks and hauling them toward the swordswoman.
She let out a smile as she sprinted towards both the diamond man and the incoming barrage, throwing herself on a walkover as she maneuvered her sword in a small spiral in front of her. She watched with satisfaction as it wrapped around a particularly big-sized chunk of earth. Allowing the projectile to propel her off the ground and over the chunk itself, she put both hands on the sword and pulled down; aided by gravity, she watched with satisfaction as it was sent crashing into the ground as she continued sprinting closer to the man.
"That won't work for me, Brother Jozu! You are going to have to come after me yourself if you want to win!" She laughed as she cut the remainder chunks with a simple whip of her sword
"That's the spirit!" He laughed as he covered himself in a diamond armor as he threw himself forward
"What is mah beautiful Wife up to now?" Thatch called as he entered the Kitchen, placing a chaste kiss on the woman as he passed by, smiling as the action was rewarded by a small giggle
"I'm preparing something sweet; the boys are going to be here soon," she announced with a grin on her face.
He hummed, wrapping his hands around her from behind and placing his head on her shoulder.
"Is there any special occasion? It seems to be keeping ya busy as a cat on a hot tin roof," he mumbled.
"Not really; I just thought it would be nice to have a small gathering. The crew parties are great, but it's hard to mingle when there are hundreds."
"That's fair, but I hope ya know Ace is gonna devour those," he teased, looking down at the baked goods that she was preparing.
"I prepared various batches already; there's enough to feed me him and then some," she proudly stated
"Aren't you precious? Ya have everything figured out, don'tcha" placing a kiss on her cheek with a dopey smile on his face.
"I am your wife, after all; did you expect anything less?"
"Alright, lovebirds, knock it off. We're here-yoi," Marco Called, strutting into the Kitchen with Ace and Izou following shortly after him, taking their seats in front of the couple.
"Ah! You're here!" Dokucha squealed excitedly
"Here! Please help yourselves. I made enough for it to fill your bellies, including you, Ace!" she grinned, passing the commanders the various plated goods.
“Thank you, Dokucha!” Ace grinned, digging in.
"Here, Marco, you won't like these," She called, noticing the Jian Dui in front of the man and exchanging it for a plate of sunset cake.
"That one had red bean filling; this one, I believe, is more up your alley; it has pineapple filling!"
"Appreciate it-yoi," he called with a smile.
"Dokucha, Do my eyes deceive me, or is this daifuku?" Izou excitedly called, bringing the dessert closer to him as he examined the colored balls.
"Ah, yes!" You mentioned you were missing Wano's pastries, yes? I tried my hand at some of them! I hope they are to your liking!" she beamed.
"Darling, you are a blessing," Izou called, breaking the dessert in half with a fork and putting the sweet in his mouth, letting out a satisfied sound as the filling melted in his mouth.
"Thatch remind me how she married a barbarian like you?" he questioned with a smile.
"Izou, you looking for a fight, ya bastard?!" Thatch growled
"There, There, dear, he didn't mean it that way."
"Actually, I was wondering too since I joined you guys," Ace cut in
"If I weren't at the wedding, I would have found it hard to believe as well-yoi."
"Oh? Did I really never tell you the story? I would have thought this goofball would have talked your ears off about it already," she questioned
"Never came up," He grumbled, hugging her close.
"We met when Thatch beat up my ex]" she piped up, choking up the men in front of her at the brazen statement
"W-What?" Ace questioned
"Don't say it like that! The bastard had said only a boar or a cow would marry er and I lost it!"
"He said what?!" Izou exclaimed, slamming his utensils down on the table
"Ah, come on guys, calm down. I will tell you the story, but please remember this was in the past, and I am now a very happy woman!" She cried, waving her hands in front of her, trying to calm down the angered men
"Who the hell could say something like that to you, Dokucha!" Ace growled
Marco stayed quiet, but everyone could see the fury behind those half-lidded eyes.
"Ah, well...I come from a small village, you see. I had quite a big family; however, I was the only girl among them, and as such, I had many of my brother's mannerisms...I developed more strength than the other girls in my village due to the constant scuffles I had with them. I had also gotten their appetite; I was and still am quite a voracious eater. That last one is why it comes so easy to me to cater to you, Ace, since, believe it or not, we share the same magic stomach!" she giggled.
"And as you can see, I was also born with pink hair, and in my village, such vibrant colors were unheard of. My ex, who was a potential suitor back then, turned me down because of these traits, so I tried to fix myself," she narrated, ignoring the frowns on the men at her last statement.
"I pretended to be weaker than I was to be seen as more lady-like. I began to eat less to match the other girls' eating behaviors, and I began to dye my hair black," she mumbled.
"It's why my hair was so disastrous when I joined you guys; it had been surviving on box after box of dye. Which is why I appreciate your heavenly help in nursing it back to health," she joked, looking up at Izou.
"After I did, I tried again. I met with him, but he had said that he just couldn't turn a blind eye to these things and left saying those things. Thatch happened to be around the area at the time, and he jumped on the guy." She sighed as if remembering the day, though surprisingly, a smile grew on her face as she did, placing a hand on her cheek and leaning on it.
"This goofball said that he had to be a boar because he believed me to be the most beautiful gal he had set eyes on and that he would be elated to even be allowed the opportunity to court me, and so I did..."
"..."
"Damn, Thatch, didn't know you were capable of being that smooth," Ace drawled, grinning at the man.
"Hmph, I had to step up my game if I wanted to be considered by this darlin'," he called as he kissed her cheek softly and embraced her once more.
"He did; it was only when he came into the picture that I finally started to go back to normal. I gained my muscles again, and I was able to recuperate my fighting abilities as I was no longer in danger of dropping of hunger!" She cheered
"Not only him, though. I'm also glad I met you guys, too. I got myself so many big brothers along with a husband. You know, the old village also looked down on me practicing swordsmanship, so I was really happy when Vista and other crewmates first approached me inquiring about it.
I was amazed that someone would actually be interested in my skills, not only interested but willing to help me strengthen them as well!"
"Well, your skills are quite formidable. I had never and still have not seen anyone who comes close to wielding a sword like yours and with such grace. It is like watching a dancing performance; I highly enjoy watching you spar." Izou grinned as he resumed eating his dessert as he praised her
"Ya should have seen her spar with Jozu this mornin'! She was stunnin' out there." Thatch grinned.
"Alright, Casanova, I have to get more ingredients from the storage room. Be sure to behave; she called warningly as she untied her apron.
"Love you," She mumbled, giving one last kiss to the man as she made her way out.
"Remind me what Village She came from?" Izou asked once he had made sure she was out of earshot
"I already skinned em."
"Atta boy"
How about them apples ya’ll haven’t written a non-child one in a while! Much one with romance undertones! But I am actually quite happy how it turned out! My biggest pride is that action scene, I sjould stop talking about it but i’m just so proud of myself so let me have this!
I really went heavy on the research for this one guys, the first part I had to go frame for frame on that one scene with mitsuri while also looking gymnastics and acrobatic terms to better write out the scene. For the second part I had to research the likes of the characters by looking at their trivias online and based on that research pastries. Things like Marco least favorite food being Beans, and so I searched for a bean pastry and a pineapple pastry. Since Wano is based on japan I also research some japanese desserts to fit the bill. And I of course had to research some southern slang for out lovely Thatcher 🤭
