Not that Ace would deserve it any more than he deserved being executed, but I wonder what would've happened if he'd been sent to Marigeois (definitely got the spelling wrong). If the WG wanted to "move on" from the effect of Roger's last words and overall life, why did they choose to remind people that he existed and has a son? I know Ace was also used to lure out WB but the Marines' decision still is pretty flawed, and backfired spectacularly.
