Rituals have been an essential part in religions and different traditions throughout the history everywhere in the world. They are a wonderful tool to connect with gratitude and celebration. Through rituals one can honor meaningful aspects of life through representations, murtis, and offerings. One can connect with a deep feeling of surrendering, embracing life (wether we see gifts or obstacles). We can channel our intentions by focusing our energy into an element which reminds us of our purpose. Sounds, songs and mantras also help us to connect at a different level with that energy we are looking forward to embrace, to awake, expand or celebrate. One can also create oneβs own ritual to open a new cycle, to close it or to celebrate its expansion. This picture is from the opening ceremony we shared during the first day of the Yoga Teacherβs Education Program from @sacredselfschoolofyoga . Every module we open with a ritual through which we acknowledge our purpose and align our energies so we can grow together in this journey of learning to be free. πΈππ½ @b.p.wcislo #consciousliving #journeyoftheself #celebration #rituals #yogajourney https://www.instagram.com/p/BxQNlY8lbck/?igshid=1v4jpcrn5syyw
