“Are you Nakamura Atsuko-chan?” He said, voice gravelly.
Atsuko slowed slightly at his appearance. His face was largely wrapped in bandages, leaving a single eye exposed. He carried a cane, but didn’t lean heavily on it. Otherwise, his robes were high-quality, woven out of smooth satin, nothing like the rough hemp that the orphanage received.
“You are…?”
He smiled benevolently. “Shimura Danzou. You may not recognize me, but I work with the Hokage.”

Posting a long overdue chapter of to thine own self be (mostly) true this week:
Atsuko threw Inoichi an unimpressed look. “I never took you for a conspiracy theorist, Sensei.”
”Not a conspiracy,” Inoichi insisted. “We’re just three old friends having tea.”
”In my house. Why did you need me here?”
And now Inoichi looked guilty, which immediately put Atsuko on edge.
“Well, actually…” He twiddled his thumbs. “I was hoping to ask you…”
”For Kami’s sake,” Shikaku said, “just spit it out.”
”Well, you see, after our consultation with Hyuuga-san this morning, it got me thinking about your… condition,” Inoichi said. “An imbalance of yin and yang chakra, heavily favoring yin. Which, simplifying a lot of medical science, is produced in the mind.”
Atsuko didn’t like where this was going. “What are you thinking of doing?”
”I’d like to attempt a Mind Walk Jutsu on you, to check if there’s something internal that we can find.”
