Practice Makes Progress 🌱
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how we chase “perfect.” The flawless performance. The final draft. The end goal. But what if we shifted our gaze away from the finish line and toward the footsteps that got us there?
I’ve found that practice doesn’t make perfect—it makes progress. It’s not glamorous. It’s not always shareable. Sometimes it’s just me, the quiet, and the work I’m trying to love. But every time I show up, something shifts. Even if it’s tiny. Even if no one else notices.
Progress is the long game. The late nights, the second tries, the doubts, the almost-give-ups. And then—one day—you look back and realize you’ve become someone new. Not perfect. But profoundly, beautifully changed.
So here’s to the process. The practice. The progress.
And to give ourselves permission to grow at a slow pace.
Don't Stop Practicing
i just screamed: "OH MY GOD I DID SO GOOD! >:O" because I flipped my image expecting it would need some tweaking, but was so fucking happy when immediately it just- looked perfect. Like, it doesn't matter which direction you have it facing, its great. Keep practicing y'all. The results show themselves when you least expect it.

This year's Santa is finished! I draw this every year. 🤷♀️. Is that a wierd tradition to have? I dunno maybe but here it is anyway.
I decided to practice my Caligraphy, and then I drew all the border stuff. I cleaned it up a bit after this but was too whatever to take a new picture. 😆 🤷♀️. This is one of my favorite poems by Robert Frost. Illustrated by me; HelloMojo.
