They don’t need super huge paragraphs, but I would very much like to have some kind of backstory for each of them. It could literally be a sentence, I don’t even care. Literally all Piper can say is, “We met in drama club and she was really cute. I was surprised when she asked me out first, because I’ve never dated a girl before, so it was pretty exciting.”

Make this book for the gays, because they deserve to have just as much spotlight as Percabeth did.
One thing that annoys me about this fandom is the lack of f/f ships and content there is. If I go on to ao3 and look at how many fics there are in the most popular non canon mlm ship (Percico) there will be 2759 fics, whereas the most popular non canon wlw ship, Pipabeth will only have 559 fics. Even the canon f/f ships people basically ignore in favor of shipping two guys who canonically hate each other. I’m not trying to hate on any ships but like...people need to stop brushing over all the wlw ships

I’ve had a thought.
What if every cat knows what the meaning of happiness is, but as they grow older, the memory of that knowledge fades. It takes a strong powerful action to happen for a cat to remember the true meaning of happiness again. Grizabella remembered after she realised all she truly wanted was her family. Old Deuteronomy remembered after he realised the difference between life with the Jellicles, and life without. Jemima didn’t need this. Jemima already knew. She just needed to ask herself, ‘What is the meaning of happiness?’ . She listened to Old Deuteronomy and understood what he was saying. Jemima is a young cat, newly reborn. Thats why only some cats know and remember the true meaning of happiness.
