TL;DR Version: Taco Bell’s Steak Rattlesnake Fries and Steak Rattlesnake Fries Burrito are decent, but come in small portions and ultimately don’t pack enough pop to make up for it. Full Review: I had someone ask me to review the Steak Rattlesnake Fries from @TacoBell so I made a trip to the nearest location and picked up an order. While I was there I saw they also had a burrito version so I decided to knock out both reviews at once and save a trip. The first thing I noticed about both the fries and the burrito is how small they were. The Steak Rattlesnake Fries Burrito was barely larger than my iPhone and and the shallow tray of fries was maybe 7”x 4” and not piled very high. Both the fries and the burrito had the same ingredients: seasoned fries, steak, jalapeños, cheese sauce, and jalapeño sauce. I still think the nacho fries are limp and don’t have enough seasoning, but here they benefit greatly from having steak and jalapeños to give them some much needed flavor. Even so, there isn’t enough to elevate these into an item I’d order again. These are probably my least favorite fast food fries and, even with larger portions, I would rather have these toppings on their normal tortilla chips. The same is true of the burrito, which is so overwhelmingly filled with French Fries that it might as well be their cheesy potato griller. Every bite was basically potato mush with the occasional stray crunch of a jalapeño slice breaking up the monotony. The fries were a decent effort, but this burrito concept was completely phoned in. The fries weigh in at 450 calories, 28g of fat, 39g of carbs, and 12g of protein. Meanwhile, the burrito has 470 calories, 22g of fat, 52g of carbs, and 15g of protein. Between the taste, portion size, and macros, I wouldn’t order either of these again. #FastFoodReviews #RealFastFoodie #TacoBell #SteakRattlesnakeFries #JalapenoSauce #NachoFries #PotatoBurrito #CheeseFries #FastFoodMacros #iifym https://www.instagram.com/p/BvEuJnklFrf/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=64t8szszw1p2
