a jasipereo fanfiction, hopefully short but idk, iâm just writing as i go
We need to talk. That was a terrifying sentence. Especially coming from Jasonâs two partners.Â
But he knew this was coming. The two of them had had a great thing going before he came around and got between them. Theyâd finally realized that they didnât need him. He didnât fit in.
Knock, knock. KNOCK KNOCK knock KNOCK KNOCK.
That was Piper. And then Leo. Gods, he even knew their knocks. This was gonna hurt a hell of a lot worse than Jason thought. He let them in.
Piper held Leoâs hand. She looked... beautiful. It wasnât like she didnât usually, but you know what they say; you want what you canât have or whatever. He took a moment to take her in, memorize how she looked before sheâd leave him all alone. He noticed every mole, every stray hair that didnât fall into the two braids over her shoulders. He noticed how much he loved everything about her, even the things she didnât. He loved the way she walked around with bare feet, the way she carried herself, her uni-brow- do you know how bad you have to have it to love some for their uni-brow??
And then he looked at Leo. Leo, gorgeous, genius, wonderful Leo. He studied every callous, every scar, every bit of motor oil that stained his skin. He noticed every freckle, his chipped tooth from an old machine accident, his acne. He noticed everything and more.Â
âJason?â Piper touched his shoulder. âAre you.. okay?â
âI just... Iâm sorry... I know... I know what youâre gonna say, and I understand, and I-â
âYou knew?â Leo asked, eyes wide. He looked almost... scared.Â
âYeah, everyone does. Itâs so obvious.â Jason sniffed. He brushed Piperâs hand away.Â
âThatâs rude,â Piper said.Â
âWhat dâyou mean?âÂ
âWell, you canât just say that to someone. Most people are really self-conscious about how much they âpassâ and shit. I thought... I thought youâd know better.â Piper had her hand placed on Leoâs back. It was an almost protective gesture, or comforting.
âI mean yeah, gender roles are all made up, and passing isnât necessarily a good or bad thing. Or a thing at all. Itâs complicated, but you canât just-â
âPipes... What does you breaking up with me have to do with gender roles??âÂ
Leo suddenly had his arms around Jason.Â
âWhat the hell is wrong with you?! Why would we- God, youâre such an idiot!âÂ
Jason was confused. But he hugged Leo back tightly, his hands gripping Leoâs T-shirt tightly.
âWhat.. did you.. want to...â He tried to ask, but he was so relieved he couldnât get the words out.
âIâm trans, Jason. And so is Leo, actually. We just thought you should know,â Piper answered. She sat beside the two of them and wrapped an arm around Jasonâs shoulders.
âOh. Oh, okay. Iâm... cis, Piper.â
âGood to know Jason.â
âWeâre gonna talk about that âbreaking up with youâ though,â Leo said.Â
Jason nodded. He was so happy they still loved him. And they trusted him. And...
âOh, thatâs why Iâve never seen you shirtless!â Jason accidentally said out loud to Leo.
idk if this made any sense but i liked the concept
and yeah, they will relentlessly make fun of jason for his last comment, as they should
