WHAT WAS HAWWA CREATED FOR !? Adam was made to dwell in paradise and he wandered through it alone as he had no partner in whom he could seek his comfort. Once he slept and woke up, he found a woman sitting near his head, whom Allah had created from his rib. Adam asked her: "What are you?" She replied: "A woman." He asked her again: "What are you created for?" She answered: "So you could seek comfort in me.". Angels who well aware of the extent of the knowledge of Adam asked: "What is her name O Adam?" The Virtue of Adam over the Angels Allah stated the virtue of Adam above the angels, because He taught Adam, rather than them, the names of everything. This occurred after they prostrated to him. This discussion precedes that event here, only to show the importance of his position, and the absence of the angels' knowledge about creating the Khalifah when they asked about it. So Allah informed the angels that He knows what they do not know, and then He mentioned this to show them Adam's superiority over them in knowledge. Allah said ,وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ الأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا (And He taught Adam all the names (of everything)). The creation of Adam, the Command to the Angels to prostrate to Him Allah informs us of how He mentioned Adam to His angels before He created him, and how He honored him by commanding the angels to prostrate to him. وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَٰلٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." Al-Majeed is Glorified to the utmost extent of Glorification due to His own merits, qualities, and actions. He is also Great in His attributes, beautiful in His power and authority.
