1. The Prophet ﷺ was asked: “What deeds are loved most by Allah?”
• The Prophet ﷺ didn’t say “a huge act” or “something very difficult.” Instead, he gave a very wise answer.
2. “The most regular constant deeds even though they may be few.”
• Allah loves consistency more than occasional big efforts.
• If you pray 2 rak’ahs every night regularly, that’s more beloved to Allah than praying 50 rak’ahs one night and then stopping.
• If you give a small amount of charity every week, that’s better than giving a huge amount once and then never giving again.
• Why? Because regular deeds show commitment, sincerity, and a steady heart connected to Allah.
• It’s like watering a plant: a little water every day makes it grow strong, but pouring a bucket once and then leaving it to dry could k 'ill it.
3. “Don’t take upon yourselves except the deeds within your ability.”
• Islam is not about burdening yourself.
• The Prophet ﷺ is teaching us: don’t try to do everything at once, don’t over-promise, and don’t force yourself into acts you can’t maintain excessively.
• Someone tries to read the whole Qur’an in one night, but then gets burnt out and stops reading altogether.
• Instead, if they read even one page a day consistently, they’ll keep a connection with the Qur’an throughout life.
• Even small acts, if done regularly with sincerity, are more beloved to Allah.
• Religion should be a journey you can walk steadily, not a burden that crushes you.
This hadith reminds us that what Allah mostly values is steady devotion, over the bursts of effort followed by neglect. Choose deeds you can handle, and do them consistently — even if they’re small.
Examples for Some practical small ,but consistent deeds that can have a huge impact when done consistently :-

• Reading Qur’an – Ex:- Even 1 page or 5 verses daily. Over a year, that adds up a lot.
• Morning & evening adhkar (remembrances) – Short phrases like SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar constantly during any free time, or reciting Ayatul Kursi before sleep.
• Giving a little sadaqah often – Even if it’s just a few coins or buying someone water.

• Making du‘a daily – Ask Allah sincerely, even for small things, before you sleep or after salah.

• Each act is small and doable.
• When done consistently, it becomes part of your life.
• Over time, these small drops fill your “ocean of good deeds.”
• If you read just 1 page of Qur’an daily, in one year you’d finish the whole Qur’an.
• If you give even $1 a day, that’s $365 charity in a year.
So Choose deeds you can handle, and do them consistently — even if they’re small --so they could have a huge impact.
