Lmao ok keep lying to yourselves. You know that you do not investigate every straight person’s sex life to determine whether they can receive communion or not. You know that there are absolutely straight people in church committing these sins and you are not tattling to the priest or everyone about it. You are not making social media posts about how straight people living together is a serious church issue.

And while we are talking about mortal sin, I never see any concerned Catholics repeatedly reminding everyone that anyone taking birth control CANNOT participate in Eucharist. Because birth control is a mortal sin, in case you didn’t know. Please stop being delusional. There’s over a billion Catholics in the world and you think a large population of us isn’t taking birth control in some form?? Be so forreal.

He did not want the ring for himself. He wanted it to protect his people who very likely had the most damage because they are so close to mordor. And in the books he only commented about it once (except for the end). I love movie boromir but I hate how they make it this huge thing where he just constantly is thinking about the ring. Not to mention he was around the ring for at least two months. There were so many others who gave into the ring after only just seeing it. I think the ring was trying to specifically get him to try and take the ring. Seeing as it probably knew he was the most vulnerable to it because of everything else going on in his life (e.g his people and cities dying, the pressure from his father, everything with faramir, ect,)

Me: "see the joke is that the person doesn't understand that there's only 2 people opening the condom, they think it's 4 people because they can't comprehend that each person has 2 hands"

i think about Jason Todd sobbing and trying to scream but unable to because his larynx was sliced with a batarang.

i think about Jason Todd coughing up blood and tearing at the scarlet bat on his chest till he reaches flesh.

i think about Jason Todd curled up on the floor, simultaneously bereft and furious- because all of it was for nothing.

Nothing changed when he died, and nothing changed when he came back.

sometimes i think of Jason Todd staring at his reflection and breaking down at the sight of a body that wasn't his.

Guys i have only ever rea done comic and it was a nightwing one. So proceed with caution.

But in a lot of the fanfics Bruce is like "killing is bad cuz we cant be the jury judge and executioner", and uhm.

Does this imply Batman thinks that if Joker was taken to trial they would say "yeah bro just put him in arkham. Bye Joker, see ya next week!" instead of the death sentence if given the choice??

Also, this feels like him trying to avoid playing God, but by not interviening and waiting for him to just change his mind and get good is doing exactly that.
