I've never actually seen Pippin, but I have heard some of the songs from it.
Berthe, who sings "No Time at All", is a character intended for a type of performer who is sadly often overlooked; the elderly woman. The most well known Berthe's are usually in their mid 60's and have included Irene Ryan in the 70's, Martha Raye in 1981 and here, from 2013, Andrea Martin.
Let's just say this 65 year old lady won a Tony for this performance, and it's not hard to see why because... well, stick with the song and you'll see.
