Merry and Pippin. It took me at least 25 years to recognize who was who! Drawing them in a very different way made my reading experience much easier.By the way, I have already finished reading all the parts of "The Lord of the Rings" and I thoroughly enjoyed it! When Pippin and Merlin only have one goal, and that is to keep the human contained.
what do you mean when you say that Pippin was actually about 14 years old (by human standards) when he went to war?? like... why was he even allowed to go to who knows where for who knows what reason??? i just realized how much of a teenager he still was, and he had to go through the deaths of his friends, being kidnapped, and a real fucking war....the kids of Middle-earth are screwed.

and throughout the whole book, Gandalf keeps saying how tired he is of his questions, how stupid and clueless he is, and by the end of the book, Gandalf had actually started to annoy me.
