Y'all know that I never defend House of the Dragon.
But it's so obvious that the new Aemond and Alicent still is HBO trying to get engagement. They monitor social media. They know what they're doing.
They most likely saw the reaction to that leak. So they're playing into it. Even though I am now seeing more screeners saying it will be a short scene and not as bad as some made it sound to be. I still expect it to be bad but not armageddon either.
So crashing out before seeing the full context of that scene with Aemond and Alicent is not worth it. Especially for a show with mediocre ass writing 😭
I can't believe I am defending the show but I am seeing people freaking out, and just stop 😭 I understand the fear and frustrations but their marketing team know what they're doing. Ep6 had lukewarm reception and even casual viewers are saying they might drop the show. So they are trying their best to get engagement for ep7.
Anyway, I need to log out for a bit. I am tired lol.
