💙Halo Zeta 💙
Once the "daskalo" (or mentor) of Atriox himself, War Chief Escharum had control of all Banished forces left in the galaxy. In late 2559, he defeated the UNSC at Installation 07, taking control of the ring and hunting down surviving humans.
Escharum is a prominent Jiralhanae War Chief within the Banished, inheriting the position of second-in-command following the death of Decimu

These moments were beautiful, yet incredibly sad. Hearing pieces of Cortana left behind as data-dust floating around is such a lovely way of remembering her - I absolutely HAVE to steal this for my writing...
Been thinking about Ghosts of the Gyre.
We don’t know what Shalimanda was.
Beyond the story Chakas told to Vinnevra in Primordium.
BUT!
I think I have a hunch as to what those ONI research scientists THOUGHT they believed was Shalimanda.
Think about it. How is this being described?
A silver-grey construct with a circular disk shaped head, and three blue eyes.
With an assemblage of arms, grapplers and claws beneath, and two bipedal legs.
Tending to the ring’s biosphere and lands.
Now…
What does that sound like.
A steward sentinel and assembler sentinel respectively.
Both of which match that description the most.
Could it be?
It’s possible?
Even then we don’t know for sure.
But still.
Just something to think about.
Make of this what you will.
Installation 07 should have all the weird shit.
I mean it does but still. It’s worth reminding the audience.
Especially since it’s the last and sole survivor of the original twelve rings.
Sure the other Halo rings have stuff.
But Installation 07 needs all the really crazy shit.
Ghosts of the Gyre reminds us of this much.
