Little #balvenie whisky flight up tonight for me, I still think price wise the #balveniewhisky are a steal, you can get great aged #scotchwhisky for decent prices and definitely worth opening. If you know me for real real you know #peatwhisky is not my jam, but I got to say I am enjoying this peat week 14 year, it’s almost got a sweet touch to it. #MacallanMonday spent with a #AmitabhBachchan coffee table book. The #macallan12 Sherry cask has long been my go to #whisky. There is an excellent balance between ginger spice and toffee sweetness. If you prefer your whisky to have a stronger spice profile then you might want to try the #Macallan18 sherry cask - ginger notes are certainly stronger in that one. So is the price tag though! Cheers to the weekend everyone! This is the Glenfiddich cask collection Select cask. It uses hand picked barrels married in a solera vat. The solera system is where a distillery uses half the liquid in the vat and then refills it and repeats the process. This ensures consistancy between bottlings.
